There are lots of pros and cons about Haskovo and Bulgaria...
There are lots of pros and cons about Haskovo and Bulgaria in general. We felt it was like coming back in last century with facilities. We just could not put up with smoking everywhere. There are no cash machines around and you have to pay in cash in most places. No free drinking water facilities. Not many lamp posts outside, roads conditions leave much to be desired and people say it is not safe to go out late when it is dark… Not many people speak English or pretend they don’t understand and local people take advantage of you, offering double prices for taxi and other services. Good place to play tennis but not sure we would like to come back there next time.SvetlanaUnited Kingdom

It is very clean, it has everything we need, including a baby crib, high chair and toys. The host is always available over chat messages and very helpful whenever we have questions. We love the fact that quality toiletries are available and the host always leaves a treat for us to find upon arrival. It is a true delight to spend a holiday in this apartment and we will return in the future, too.

The location is in the heart of town! everything you may need are in a walking distance! immediate communication was really a PLUS, as whatever was needed Irena was there! If you travel with car there is plaenty of public space around that you can park! If you travel with your family and extra ammenities are needed, Irena took care of everything!!Even toys and games were there for our kids! The rooms were very large and the furniture was plentiful and comfortable. If you are travelling through Bulgaria to Greece, this hotel is just two kilometres from the main road, it is in a park and well worth the extra distance. We have stayed here before and will definitely stay there again. The breakfast was nice (I ate the #5) and they actually know how to make English tea. The bathrooms are very large. The balcony was convenient. WiFi was fast and free.

Spasidar (sorry if I mispelt your name!) spoke excellent english and was so helpful and welcoming. A problem with the shower was sorted out promptly. If you want a generic hotel experience, look elsewhere, but if you want something friendly, quirky and a little bit different, look here. It's close to the centre and handy for everything. We only intended to stay one night, but it turned into two. They kindly allowed us a late checkout also. Very accommodating!

Not only inside but also outside the room, they put so many interesting things like butterflies and so on. And the hotel smelled nicely. I liked it very much. The two ladies I met at the reception were both polite and pleasant with nice smile.
