There are lots of pros and cons about Haskovo and Bulgaria...
There are lots of pros and cons about Haskovo and Bulgaria in general. We felt it was like coming back in last century with facilities. We just could not put up with smoking everywhere. There are no cash machines around and you have to pay in cash in most places. No free drinking water facilities. Not many lamp posts outside, roads conditions leave much to be desired and people say it is not safe to go out late when it is dark… Not many people speak English or pretend they don’t understand and local people take advantage of you, offering double prices for taxi and other services. Good place to play tennis but not sure we would like to come back there next time.SvetlanaUnited Kingdom

It is the perfect accommodation for a family with a baby, like ours. It is very clean, it has everything we need, including a baby crib, high chair and toys. The host is always available over chat messages and very helpful whenever we have questions. We love the fact that quality toiletries are available and the host always leaves a treat for us to find upon arrival. It is a true delight to spend a holiday in this apartment and we will return in the future, too.

The rooms were very large and the furniture was plentiful and comfortable. If you are travelling through Bulgaria to Greece, this hotel is just two kilometres from the main road, it is in a park and well worth the extra distance. We have stayed here before and will definitely stay there again. The breakfast was nice (I ate the #5) and they actually know how to make English tea. The bathrooms are very large. The balcony was convenient. WiFi was fast and free.

It has a nice terrace and a pool if you like to join although the pool is shared with outside customers. There is a small playground for kids so that is also a plus if you have them. The parking is outside the hotel entrance so I felt safe parking my car full of baggages there. The beds were nice and the crib for the baby was arranged as booked.
