I found the description of this hotel so interesting that I decided to go out of my way to stay here instead of continuing on to Carcassone. I had a huge room in Renaissance style with so many features and special ornamentation from that era. It was like spending the night in a museum of decorative arts. The hotel staff speak perfect English and we're kind enough to bring my bags to the room. The location is easy to find with GPS. It's not a very large city and there's plenty of free parking within convenient walking distance although the hotel does offer valet parking for a fee. This overnight was one of the highlights of my trip.

Each spacious and air-conditioned guest room is uniquely decorated and is equipped with a private bathroom, TV and DVD player. it’s charming and unique . the house got a lot of character. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful .

The hosts are exceptionally attentive to your every need. So friendly, we felt so welcomed. The room was impeccably clean and tastefully furnished, very comfortable bed, nice bathroom. The breakfast is one of the best we've had in France. Super nice pool. Everything about this hotel is perfect!😊 So happy we booked!

Some rooms have a view of the swimming pool. Exceptional breakfast with extremely helpful owner offering anything that was not right he would make better but everything from delightful pastries to best scrambled egg ever in lovely restaurant The hotel really deserves to be visited

Hôtel Le Quatorze is located in the heart of Figeac. There is a garden and a terrace and some parts of the building date back to the 13th century. Free WiFi is offered and a drinks vending machine is available. The hotel and owners were wonderful! Location and breakfast were great! When we left the next day to continue our hike on the Via Podiensis, we followed the wrong trail markers and hiked the wrong trail for 3 hours. We ended up far away from where we needed to be with no way to call a taxi. We called the owner of the hotel and she was able to arrange a ride for us and saved the day.

We had interconnecting rooms for a family of four and they were gorgeous! Breakfast was delicious and served in the beautiful salle a manger. The swimming pool in the garden was lovely, in peaceful surroundings! Very central to the town of Mazamet with nice restaurants and bars.
