Quiet college town.
Quiet college town. Great breakfast places but ow on restaurants. Lots of breweries if that your mojo. Most of the breweries served food as well. Bangor however is close by and is flush with choices of places to eat.

University Inn was a great place to stay after arriving in Bangor. The staff was welcoming and room was clean and nice. There was wine and cheese in the lobby when we arrived around 6pm so that was a nice surprise. I would definitely recommend this hotel.CherylUnited States of America

Half of the rooms have the river view and direct access to the pool and to a tiny beautiful park with gazebo. The other half of the rooms face the parking lot but we got the first floor room on the river side and enjoyed it greatly. Helpful staff, very clean room with the fridge, microwave and coffee machine, in other words, everything that you may need for a short (or long) break on the road.IreneUnited States of America

Only thing I was upset with the night clerk she couldn't get me a extra pillow I was so in pain couldn't sleep till 5am.i was upset with her. I've never had this issue with any other hotels. I truly appreciated that we were on the first floor this stay but I do enjoy the view on the pool side of the hotel.
