Even though I read some negative comments regarding this hotel and I had my concerns I must say that the staff was very friendly and supportive. I was able to interact with some of them and have only positive feedback. Also, I checked-in in less than 5 minutes which was amazing.

Perfect location for all theatres, walking distance to just about everything you would want to see. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave us extra vouchers for breakfasts. Room was spacious enough for NYC. Ice dispensers on each floor were wonderful.

The hotel is very conveniently located, at walking distance from the majority of the most famous touristic attractions.
The bathroom was quite nicely organized, and it was provided on a daily basis with soap, shampoo and conditioner, but no toothpaste.
The hotel provided complementary water bottles on a daily basis in the room, as well as free water all day long in the reception hall. Coffee and tea are also available for free at breakfast.
The reception staff was lovely and very cordial.

this is This is New York, so you have to lower your expectations and compare it to other New York hotels. By these standards, its a good hotel, with great locations. large rooms for NY.

We felt safe staying there returning at odd hours.
Friendly and serviceminded staff.
Cool feature with pad to control lights/blinds/ac/cleaning but it took a while to understand NOT to use the pad when going to the toilet at night by clicking the hall light and directing it inside the toilet, with the downside of it being less lit.
