This is a quiet hideout on top of a mountain, far away from any village, where one can stay in a RV or trailer for the night. Everything necessary is provided, even fast internet. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The winding road leading there is just made for motorcyclists.

Everything, the outside area was great to hang out and share stories. The beds were very comfortable. Being the lady house on the road we had privacy from other houses.

Wonderful location; it was an easy drive to both city and outdoor activities - moreso the latter. Great view of Watauga Lake. Celeste was very helpful and attentive! The owners Mike and Jennifer sent a long, detailed message with a great deal of information about the home and area. Very helpful!!

Everything about this location and stay was perfect. The cabins were cute, the kitchen was superb, the restrooms were stocked and beautiful, and the outside patio was great. There was even a few disc golf baskets for my husband to play with! 😇 The only thing we seemed to have issues with was setting the cabin temperature. For some reason, it was a little difficult for us but we loved every moment. We will definitely be back and stay a longer amount of time because 2 days was not enough!

We love love this cabin (and the smaller one next to it). Location for us is perfect, close to town but not too close! The kitchen is just the right size, there’s a grill, picnic table, and fire ring outside. Wi-Fi is good for the location (we have Verizon service). Owner is responsive to text messages and is very kind. This was our second trip and definitely will plan another!!!
Very beautiful Watauga Lake. Quiet with not too many tourists in the middle of October. Very nice place for out door enjoyment. Roads were scarey as they were very turny and up and down hills but to be expected I guess for the mountains.
