Kenmare is a charming, small Irish town.

Kenmare is a charming, small Irish town. We loved walking through the streets with many shops, pubs and restaurants. Both Holy Cross and St. Patrick's churches are worth a visit. Kenmare is a perfect base for driving the Ring of Kerry and visiting Killarney National Park. We had a fabulous dinner at The Coachman's pub, sitting outside on a pleasant October evening but there are many other dining options too.

Hosts were most welcoming and communicated well. The townhouse itself is beautifully designed and furnished in a most attractive, elegant and understated style. Small touches included handmade soaps, a Nespresso machine. Our hosts provided invaluable advice about local travel, attractions, places to eat, etc. The townhouse is located in the heart of Kenmare, making it easy to walk out for dining and catching some traditional music in the pub. The restaurant associated with the townhouse fed us the best breakfasts we have had in Ireland!

Everything about this stay was perfect. Bernadette and her husband were extremely welcoming and gave us a lot of information and tips about getting around Ireland and Kenmare. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and so comfortable! It’s full of little details that make all the difference. It is also only a quick walk into the town centre. Our hosts were very accommodating of our dietary requirements and went above and beyond to provide a delicious vegan breakfast which was served in a beautiful conservatory. We both loved this stay!

It is a spacious accommodation in a quiet location a short walk from Kenmare town centre. Nick and Dólan keep it spotless clean and care for all needs, they are very helpful and really, really nice guys with a good sense of humour. As we were on the road all day, we had too less time to chat with them unfortunately. Nick provided us with information about what to do on Beara Peninsula etc. The bed is super comfy and there’s a back terrace facing River Sheen. We definitely recommend the Kingfisher Riverside Retreat.

This apartment is a gem in Kenmare with phenomenal views of the Kenmare Bay. The place is cosy, quiet and only a 10 minute drive to Kenmare town. The apartment was handed tidy and stocked up with everything that we needed to live there for a week. Geraldine has been a super host , extremely easy to communicate with and she's always around if you need anything. We enjoyed every bit of our stay here and I highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for a getaway in Kenmare.

The location was superb. Less than a five minute walk from the town centre. The Creamy Cottage is spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of clean, fresh towels. We parked our car safely at the side of the house. Kenmare itself is a lovely little town, consisting of two main streets with plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes Overall, myself, my wife and our two sons had a very satisfying short break.

Margaret was a wonderful host. She welcomed us warmly giving us tips for how best to get into town on foot and showed us around the house. Our room with a super comfy kingsized bed was wonderful. Breakfast was very good w/breads and fresh fruit, yogurt and cereals. All exactly what we were hoping for using Kenmare as a 2 night stop to visit Killarney Nat'l Park and its environs.

It’s a small boutique hotel with modern rooms, nicely appointed and quiet, in a hip corner of Kenmare. There’s a tiny, but very modern restaurant, on the ground floor with exceptional food and wonderful service and a couple of tables on the sidewalk out front. It’s not a thru street, so it’s a lovely spot for tea. Just a minute from shopping, a park, historic sites, etc.

The apartment was lovely cosy and clean. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and was well set up for self catering with family. We had a highchair and cot set up for us when we arrived which was so appreciated. Loads of space in the bedrooms too. The welcome was typically Irish and friendly. Kenmare is such a lovely town also. Great stay, thank you!
