Very good price quality, very clean. Very kind owner. Still 13km from start Adam's peak but I would prefer staying here instead of Dalhousie. We travelled by tuk tuk so no problem to drive to Adam's peak.

Kishan and his colleague (sorry we don't remember the name) were really helpful and kind every single second!! They helped me to find petrol for my tuktuk Food was delicious (milk rice for breakfast was excellent, Sri Lankan omelette really tasty) The views are breathtaking (just as a tip check if you are coming when the reservoir is full).

We had a great 3 night stay at Butterfly Mountian Lake Side. The deck was great and the food and hospitality was over the top. Great service, nice meals and friendly staff.

Shanta and his familiy are the nicest family of all Sri Lanka! Really. Shanta took me in the middle of the night to the startpoint of Adam's Peak. He also took me and two other guest to the Moray Waterfall which is a must see if you are in this area. We could enjoy our time at the waterfall as long as we liked. Shanta patiently waited for us. The food is amazing and Shanta, his wife and his mother have beeb serving it always with a big nice smile. The lake nearby is awesome for a little morning dip or for a relaxing afternoon after hiking. I loved everything about the stay and could have easily stayed another week to fully explore the whole area. (Unfortunately that wasn't possible because of my flight)

This place is such a gem! The view from the common area is breathtaking, and the peaceful sounds of nature are incredibly relaxing. The rooms are very clean and comfy. The family who runs it is warm, welcoming, and caring, making you feel like you're visiting your own family. Plus, they cook delicious home-cooked meals that add to the wonderful experience. This was my second time staying here, and it was just as wonderful as the first.

The hotel is clean, nice and great located. There is a nice view when you go out of the room. Chatu, The owner of the place was kind, generous and helpful. Chatu has really good suggestions on where to go and offers really good food in the place.
