The Sutherland Arms, a property with a bar, is situated in Stoke on Trent, 36 km from Capesthorne Hall, 38 km from Buxton Opera House, as well as 49 km from Chillington Hall. The location was great for the pottery outlet shops, and just a few minutes drive from the Emma Bridgewater factory, which was the focus of our quick visit. The manager of the pub and accommodation was exceptionally helpful and friendly, and it was a bonus to be able to stay right above the pub and enjoy a couple of drinks!
