Featuring garden views, Ruta de los volcanes features accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a bar, around 49 km from Bolivar Theatre. The accommodation was beautiful. It's near the Cotopaxi National Park and area is very nice. Host Darwin was very kind and he was cooking very well. The restaurant has very good atmosphere with the fireplace. The best bonus was we met with great Ecuadorian people who were also accommodated here :). We really recommend this accommodation if you want to visit Cotopaxi volcan.

Featuring a garden overlooking the Pasochoa Volcano, Hacienda Santa Ana is set in a charming house combining modern and antique design. It is located 7 km from Cotopaxi National Park. We really enjoyed our stay at the Hacienda Santa Ana. It is perfectly located and close to Cotopaxi Park. There is not much around in the area, which means you have calm and quiet the entire time. We were extremely fortunate that we were the only guests, which means that we had the entire place to ourselves. The staff on-site was super helpful and showed us around the area, introduced us to the animals on the farm, and provided us with advice, rubber boots, and great hospitality overall. Food options are limited, however, we enjoyed the simple yet tasty dishes that were served for both lunch and dinner. Breakfast was included in the price and had a good variety. Please note that you need a taxi or private car to reach the Hacienda as it is in the middle of nowhere. (Which is probably the biggest selling point!) - Speaking of selling point, this accommodation is higher priced than most in the area, but it was so worth it!

Great staff, kitchen, and hot showers. Probably the best hot shower and kitchen of any place I have stayed at. the stove is electric, so you don't need a match or lighter. Not normal, but I ended up getting my own cozy double for $5-$6 because I was traveling solo. Great advice for Quilotoa (which you can easily do on your own) and competitively priced tour of Cotopaxi. I actually stayed twice; before and after Quilotoa.
