-Ali & the staff at Fotiya were extremely accommodating to my husband and me throughout our 4 night stay. Ali arranged for a tuk tuk to pick us up at the train station early in the morning (2 am) when the train arrived. -comfortable large bed -we were able to change rooms to a larger one with bay window sitting area when it became available : ) -we ate breakfast and dinner each day at the restaurant on the rooftop of the hotel. Indian, western, and Korean options were available at reasonable prices. Each dish we had was well prepared and tasty!

Wow! By far the best guesthouse we experienced in India (and we have been traveling 2,5 months!) Paresh and his staff couldn't do enough for us. Made us feel like family - we were even invited to a family wedding which was an amazing experience. Organised a camel trek with a night sleeping under the stars, which was fabulous. Food was great too. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone

I loved the location of the place which is inside the fort and this building is around 600 years old. If you are looking for a local experience this is your place. The staff is so hospitable! It feels like home! This was my second time staying at this place and if i visit jaisalmer again, i will definitely stay here again. And the experience of desert safari with them is the best. They take you to a non-touristic place in the desert, you can cook with them there and you sleep directly under the stars with enough bedding to keep you warm. And one advice, we should also be respectful to the neighbours here as we are staying in their residencial area.
