The rooftop terrace cafe is a calm and friendly environment to relax in, while watching the bustling city below. My name is Ba and I grew up in Barna, a village south of Jaisalmer, where I worked as a farmer for many years. About ten years ago, I started to organize camel safaris to the desert and sharing my knowledge about wildlife and plants with different travelers. From there I decided to open this hotel in 2012 to become more central. That's how the my hotel was born. I enjoy the contact and exchange with travellers and am happy to teach you about the Indian way of life. I also enjoy cooking very much and you're welcome to join me in the kitchen and to learn how to prepare some typical vegetarian Indian dishes. I was a camel farmer for 10 years and have lots of knowledge and stories to share with you about the surrounding desert. I can arrange a desert safari for you run by my uncle which includes a camel ride, a night sleeping under the stars amongst the sand dunes and two freshly cooked meals for a special price. I have lots of stories to share about the Rajasthani and Thar Desert way of life which I will be more than happy to share with you.
