Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomA little walk to the tavernas might not suit everyone but was fine for us.
Beautifully tended gardens, so many secret places to have a cup of coffee, coffee maker supplied. Hammocks, views to die for, like a retreat.

ItalyThe place is just perfect!!! The apartment is clean and with all the accessories. The Garden is really beatiful, silent, with hammocks and a fantastic view on Zacros bay. The location is very close to get the best beaches and Zacros gorge. The owner is so nice and helpful. A perfect place to relax

IcelandThe property is one of the most beautiful I've ever stayed at. You walk out of your room and you're in a lush botanical garden, with sea views in the distance and the Gorge of the Dead behind you. The room is spacious and has a very nice bathroom. We greatly enjoyed the rooftop terraces and all of the different lounging options in the garden. We also hiked up the road that goes past the property to a beautiful overlook of the Gorge. You can smell all of the wild mountain herbs, which Stella's was kind enough to have in the room as well, for use. It's a beautiful and manageable walk down to the beach, passing the Gorge and lots of olive and fruit groves, as well as the ruins of a Minion palace.

Czech RepublicGarden. Hands down. We were speachless when we walked the garden. Amazing work by the owners. So amazing garden architecture you might only find in Japan mountains. Also we loved the near beaches of Xerokampos area and the tasty food of the tavernas at Kato Zakros, And the shop at Zakros village is well supplied with local products. The bed in the studio fitted my body and we had a comfortable sleep.

United States of AmericaWith the trees came mosquitoes, that was the only negative.
If you were planning to stay in the beach front town, Stella studios are in the trees with a wonderful Eastern view for sunrise and an exceptional relaxing location for dinner or a beverage outside your room.

United States of AmericaThe rooms are situated in an idyllic, beautiful, extraordinary garden. Amazing sunrises! Peaceful and serene. Comfortable room-very well appointed decorated with traditional Greek antiques. All the equipment needed for food prep is available (should you want to cook with several great tavernas nearby!). Stella and her staff are fantastic. Her other rooms, Stella’s Minoika, on the neighboring hillside, are modern and gorgeous with views to die for. We had the opportunity to stay in both. Both are beyond special!

NetherlandsThe location is a bit too far out from the beach. There is no view, as the property is surrounded by high hedges and bushes. There is no reception on site, no bar, no staff (they are all in the other location, 2 km away). During our visit (mid july) there were hardly any other guests. So no guests, no staff, it was all rather weird.
I like the lay-out, with separate rooms, each with their own terrace. They are beautifully built, a bit small but fine.
