Everything was 100% perfect

We stayed here last year and loved it so much we had to come back. These are great rooms right in the centre of Chora Sfakion and right next to a lovely bakery for breakfasts. Giannis and Niki are wonderful hosts who make you feel really welcome. They have a lovely garden at the back where you can sit in peace in the shade and if you go out the front door you're 30 seconds from the harbour and the shops and restaurants. No distance from the ferry port. Such a beautiful place to stay - you never want to leave.

You feel at home, welcomed by Yanis. He helped a lot with his tips and suggestions to explore the area. You feel kindness all over. Beautiful 'secret' garden, great sea view (over the front building). All clean and simple. Recommend to explore the area around.

Hoped for a view of the sea, but it's just around the corner. Not as easy to find as I thought, but that's because the sign is behind you as you come up the hill. I walked around town twice before I spotted it!

The hotel is Historic building, renovated beautifully with a sweet inner courtyard. the rooms are very comfortable with beautiful local hand made wall painting. Yanis the owner is the most welcoming host, he really gave us a worm homey feeling. it was hard to leave and we stayed their an extra night. Thanks Yanis for the great visit

We went there in low-season (October), so there were plenty of parking space. However, I suspect that parking might be an issue in high-season. The town is very small so there is limited room for cars. The two beaches in the town are very small. However, it's easy to reach great beaches by car (5 min drive) or boat (15 minutes trip).

Situated on a cozy, quiet street, away from the buzz of the main restaurant street, but still very close. We had a room with a balcony above the beautiful green garden where we had all our breakfasts.

The room reports for the property understate just how much love & affection the owners have put into this business! They really are lovely & cannot do enough to make your stay enjoyable! Certainly a word I do not use a lot but sums up our stay ' Brilliant!'

cant fault this hotel, probably the best i've been to.

Had done proper review before but seems to have got lost so will do a quick one again.Rooms were fabulous, very big, all modern, recently refurbished. nice bowl and cutlery left so you can make own food. these were cleaned for you which was a nice touch.the rooms were cleaned daily and to a high standard.Location was great, maybe 50 metres to the water. nice restaurants on front. ended up getting the boat to Loutro on all 3 of my days. These small boats were very enjoyable and great value.The owners are very friendly and helpful. I spent a lot of my time hiking, there is a booklet in the shops with maps of walking routes. These hikes were probably the highlight of my holiday, especially the one up to Anopolis. the walk to sweet water beach was safe.

Absolutely nothing.

Everything was absolutely fabulous. Nice room, wonderful bed, a little balcony and a spacious spacious courtyard. Fridge and water cooker in the room, and simple breakfast stuff and coffee and tea provided every morning. Giannis and Nikki are wonderful hosts, making us feel right at home. And great tips for hiking, pointing us to Aradena gorge (which we didn’t know) and asking around about a gorge we had found ourselves (and which turned out to be a bad idea this year).

Our extended family stayed in the top floor apartment. We visited each day and must admit we were envious. There was an amazing view of the harbor, a beautiful rooftop deck for sunning. We were always greeted at the entry with a broad smile and offers of help even though we were not the primary guests.

Hard to think of anything, steps maybe.

Purposely refurbished rooms to a very good standard, the bathroom in particular with large walk-in shower. From the balcony had a great view of the sea and part mountains. Location is very central to the village with a 10 metre stroll to a very good bakery for breakfast. The hosts were exceptionally generous with their help and advise way above what I expected.

This is really the best place to stay in Sfakia / akn Chora Sfakion. The room is very tidy, and equipped with everything you need. Your host answeres every question (and sorry for me being so, I had plenty) within minutes. In the fridge you even find unexpected stuff for a small breakfast incl. juice, water, butter, jam and Zwieback. We had a balkony and the place has a garden which is unique in Southern Crete. We had taxi transfer from Chania airport arranged by our host Nikki. And last to mention: eat dinner at Nikos Tavern. Very best restaurant in town and beyond.

I was a bit disappointed l did not get a drive to the bus stop,it was extremely hot and my bag was very heavy,having a bad back it was an unpleasant experience.

The room was very nice with a fridge and kettle for coffee and tea. Bed comfortable. Nice garden downstairs.

There is no washing machine. Two bathrooms are indicated but in reality they are not two complete bathrooms, in one there is a sink and shower, in the other there is a toilet and sink

I stayed with my family in the terrace apartment with a beautiful sea view. The terrace is very large and equipped for outdoor dining and it was so nice that we almost always had dinner there. The apartment is cleaned every day and water and juices are brought in every day. The host is very welcoming and hospitable, upon arrival he gave us various gifts such as wine, water, fruit juices, jams and butter for breakfast and when we left he gave us some local products as well as a postcard greetings signed by them which I really appreciated. I had a great time at Sofia's lovely room and the hosts make their guests feel pampered

 I did not like the fact that we only stayed one day! We made a big mistake!   We should have booked a longer stay!

We liked everything about this property!  Perfect host,   gorgeous property with a secret garden. The top floor apartment is magical with the view from the deck.
