Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GreeceMy second stay at this wonderful traditional place. If you are looking for a taste of the Greek way of life look no further. Dimitri the owner is kind and helpful and treats all his guests as if they are life long friends. He cooks the perfect breakfast!! The rooms are comfortable, very Greek and well equipped. The property is very close to Chania airport. For anyone looking to experience a little bit of true Greece then I highly recommend this rustic property.

United States of AmericaIf you would like to get a taste of traditional Greek food, hospitality, and accommodation, this is an absolute must-stay inn! I will definitely be retuning. I loved the preserved historic character of the buildings which were built in the 1600s. From the Venetian some walls to the Greek hand embroidery, it is enchanting. Additionally, the hospitality is unmatched. The host, Dimitri, stocked our studio with waters, beers, fruits, and raki. As well, he cooked us a traditional Greek dinner.

United States of AmericaI liked everything about it.
The proprietor is very charming, welcoming, helpful, and interesting to talk with. The building, built, I think, in the 1600s, was originally family homes. Part of it is a small museum filled with interesting Greek antiques - objects, textiles, furniture, clothing, etc. - going back a couple hundred years or so. My room was very clean and comfortable and had a homey feel, and it was very quiet. The little village of Pazinos is not a tourist destination, but it's an old and authentically Greek neighborhood that I'm glad to have happened upon. It's a short and inexpensive cab ride to the airport.

United States of AmericaPazinos Village has the look and charm of a romantic movie. The wise, funny older man who takes care of place and you. The cute cat that walks around. If I would have stayed longer I'm sure the woman of my dreams would have shown up and I wouldn't have wanted to leave. Thanks for a great stay.

United States of AmericaThe property was a little remote.
The Host really wanted the guests to enjoy the stay. Quite a sense of humor! Enjoyed the 'hominess' of the property - not your typical hotel location.

Pazinos Village is a lovely place to stay and is very close to the airport. The communication from Dimitri from the start of the booking was brilliant. We had a really late flight arrival at about 1130pm which was delayed until about 12, but Dimitri still had someone pick us up ! He also helped us sort out a hire car for the duration of our stay which was a good price and the car is good.

New ZealandDimitris made sure we started our time in Crete with everything we needed and even took time to recommend with a map the best places for activities. He showed us the kind of Greek hospitality you hear famously about, and we felt extremely welcomed on arrival despite it being very late. Helped us pick up our car from the rental place and fed us breakfast. You will not regret staying here and you’ll remember it forever.

SwedenAmazing place to stay! Very welcoming and responsive host who went out of his way to make me feel welcome with drinks, a surprise (amazing) breakfast, and a lift to the airport bus. If you are only staying in one place in Chania, it should be here! I hope I'll have the pleasure of returning here again.

SwedenOf course, nothing.
The owner dimitris welcomed us like family. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable for families. We stayed one night to use the airport, but I think we should stay longer than that. We can experience the great houses and feel warm and comfortable as if we were staying at a friend's house. Breakfast is also full of love. Even the milk for the corn flakes is warmed and thoughtful. I am filled with gratitude to the chef who made it. Dimitris has a warm heart and teaches us many important things in life. Very meaningful stay. Thank you!

We had a really nice stay at Pazinos and Dimitris it's the best host ever. He is so friendly and helpful and the communication with him is very quick and friendly. He welcomed us with cold drinks and we had a nice chat together. Even that we arrived so late, Dimitris was there for us and let us feel immediately like home. His breakfast was amazing and whatever you want to know, he is there to help up. Also the bed was really comfortable. Efkaristo and see you soon :-) Tobi and Miri

ItalyThe studio is 5 minutes from the airport, just outside Chania. The studio itself and the village gives you the impression to be transported back in time, it’s gorgeous. The room was big, with a nice terrace; of course you cannot expect the comfort of an hotel, but the experience is worth it. The owner, Dimitris, is the most kind and hospitable man ever! He welcomed us with drinks, he left us fruit and biscuits in the room, he provided us with umbrellas and seats for the beach. Fully recommended.
