Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

DenmarkIt's so nice that not every room in a town like Chaina is high end expensive totally Ikea-modernised air-bnb with all modern commodities to suit the picky tourism. Kydonia fortunately still offers a cheap authentic basic room that you can book if that's all you need. No fancy stuff to up the price, so set your expectations right and you own+t be disappointed. And on top of that its 50 meters from the charming harbour and in the middle of the wonderful walking street. Kydonia has quite big rooms of varying size, one or two beds, so there is room for more people, if you are more than two, and own bathrooms where things work. There is even a good refrigerator that's quite big. The host is there to help if you need it and its close to taxi pick up for late night transfers to the airport. If you need anything else pick something else and pay what that costs. But please keep the authentic, basic options like Kydonia alive and running. Thank you for a good stay.

United Kingdom-Stairwell up to reception had a carpet thick with dust which is never a good start -a chunk of wood is missing from the bottom of the roon door connecting to lobby/hall area - steps down from bathroom have a black drip stain down the steps - chest felt tight from dust the next day
Location is a few minutes from bus station, very central. Very cool quirky building- that's let down by any form of maintenance If the this place had a splash of white paint and some TLC the rooms could go for triple the price but unfortunately it's looks like it probably did in 1970 (not in the good way)

BulgariaEven though the room is in the center of the old town, that can be also a disadvantage. If you are with a car, it can be quite difficult to find a parking spot. At night can be quite noisy, as drunk groups are passing by often. The room is simple, it has the minimum. However, probably a problem with the plumbing, but the toilet was very smelly all the time.
The place is right in the middle of the old town. Which makes it very convenient for reaching the restaurants and bars. It is part of an old building, which is kinda cool.

IsraelThe room we got was in the addex, a very small window facing the main street you can shut, but was very niisy all night long from the youth outside. The shower was very tight.
Great location on the main street where everything is happening. This is a very cheap room, and thus a good value for money.

PolandThe hotel is old and dirty even the sheets dont do to good empresion. The stairs to go up are old and seems like they will crash any second. Not too easy to go w up with a suitcase. With baby strolley it was a big challenge.
Localisation is perfect. Near to The bus station and sea. Main promenade is just outside the building. However the localisation shown by map on booking is fake.

PolandThis was my third time staying at "Kydonia Rooms" with my family. We enjoyed a lot being hosted by a very hospitable, nice and welcoming host, in that cozy place. The rooms are nice and spacious, with a nice warm colours, and there's a very beautiful view from the balconies. You can see the mountains and the street, and harbour from there. Rooms were very clean, and cleaned by the host, with new, clean towels, and bedsheets. Another huge advantage is that there is a kitchen in the room, which enables people to cook during their stay. The host is very nice and puts all his efforts to help the renters. 10/10 Experience ❤️

ArmeniaIn the evenings it's noisy till 1-2am because there is a restaurant nearby which puts loud music, so it's difficult to rest and sleep before 2am. Go to home after that if you wanna sleep.
The location is great, it's just in the very center of everything. You can get to beaches just in 16 minutes walk.
