This is a lovely traditional family run hotel in a peaceful area. The gardens are beautiful and the smell of Jasmine greets you as you arrive. The accommodation is everything you will need and the little touches - cakes and flowers left out for your return, beds changed and rooms cleaned daily and that they care enough to ask you to message for safety if you’re going hiking, is unique and a level of service that is rarely found these days. Thank you Kiki.

The host Kiki was very friendly, provided us with all the necessary information what to do and where to go nearby. The rooms have a specific old romantic touch, delicately decorated. We had a very heavy storm during the night what added even more some mysticity to our stay.

The view, the location, the smell of flowers outside, it’s peaceful and an amazing location. The bedroom was very clean. Very thoughtful gifts with locals dishes to try and local alcools everyday. We had new flowers everyday in the room which was very nice. Kiki gave us a lot of local recommandation on points of interest in the area which was amazing !

I need Booking.com to raise the maximum rate to 11 because 10 is not enough! :) The Kavousi Resort is simply perfect, rooms with everything you need and a crazy view of Phalasarna beach. Excellent breakfast, we had the chance to eat something different every morning. Special mention to Kiki, the perfect host. She welcomed us with a delicious sample of Greek yogurt and was able to give us valuable advice about the area during our stay. 100% recommended and I'll definitely stay there again. Giorgio

This was our last stay during our 1-month Crete Trip and probably also our best experience. Falasarna is maybe the best place to stay at the Crete Island. Beach is clean and the Water unbelievably clear although its a huge commercial beach. We had incredible sea view from the balcony and the owner also created an extra bed for our 3.kid (we are family 2+3). Apartment was spacious and just some 4 minutes to the famous beaches of Falasarna (but you definitely need a car). It is orientated to the west, so even in the beg. of August we had perfect time on the balcony in the morning as there is always a shadow and good climate. We can only recommend this resort and I hope we will be back in the near future.

Everything was perfect - the location very close to Falassarna beach and many restaurants, our spacious comfortable room with all amenities and a beautiful view to the sea and the best sunset but most of all our host Kiki and her hospitality really made this an exceptional stay. I am really happy with Kavousi. The owner, Kiki, is friendly, lovely and cute person, as all her family. Over it, she speaks english perfectly and she takes care on all the details, including the time of your arrival. I stayed there only one night, with my friend, but we are sure that we'll come back again, in case we decide to go again to Crete. The apartment was really nice and we found a welcome gift, and also a goodbye detail. Falasarna is a famous place due to the sunset and you can see it from the terrace of the apartment,whereas you drink a white wine. Amazing! Trust me, go directly there. We loved the local cretan ambiance. The rooms are typically local, true to the island. Simple n clean. Comfortable sleep! A very lovely full breakfast: so diverse; tasty and plenty! Fresh eggs from themselves! We shall book there again:)
