Stayed 10 nights and everything was incredible. The accommodation is comfortable and relaxing. It’s in the small details that you realise a lot of thought went into the design and layout and overall service of the place. The cats are an added bonus. They are like family and provide that extra warmth and happiness during your stay The best thing about this place though is it’s value for money. This make it a 11/10 place Will definitely be back!

There was really nothing to dislike.

We loved the whole set-up at Kanso rooms. The accommodation was spacious, very clean, with a huge comfortable bed. The air conditioning was very effective. Another useful feature was the sliding insect screen across the patio door, which meant we could leave the door to the balcony open without worrying about any unwanted visitors sneaking in. There are only a few rooms, so the nice pool and surrounding area (which offered comfortable sun loungers and mature olive trees for shade) were not too busy and that adds to the friendly atmosphere of Kanso rooms. The owners were lovely, and an additional bonus for us was the group of cats they kindly look after. We had a ground-floor room and were delighted to receive visits from the young cats who made us laugh with their antics.

You should need a car in order to visit the beaches, but the location is great and super quite, so you might even choose to relax by the pool and enjoy the beautiful environment. It was not a problem at all for us.

Our stay in Kanso Rooms was absolutely fantastic! The room was very clean and spacious, with beautiful views, minimalistic decoration, a fully equipped kitchenette and all kinds of amenities. It was cleaned on a daily basis and everyone was extra kind and helpful. Honestly a 10/10!

We had an amazing time at Kanso rooms! Super clean accommodation and Vassilis was always helpful when needed! Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Wonderful room facing the sea and the swimming pool. Hopefully we will be back soon. Thank you!

Nothing that i didn't like, i would only share a note/tip for travellers: in case you are allergic to cats, maybe this is not a good option for you! You may find them in front of your door waiting for their cuddles, so better be prepared :)I personally love them and have no issue to have them around me they are super cute and friendly! Furthermore, i would suggest renting a car if you want to roam around the area.

The location is amazing, even during heatwave, you still have a little breeze and the pool. The room was fully equipped and very clean! Hosts are very kind and helpful with anything you may need during your stay. It is a super relaxing environment, I would definitely go back and recommend it to other people!

The host was really friendly and helpful with us. Upon our arrival he treated us with a cold juice by the pool, which was exactly what we needed at the time. The room was clean, comfy and spacious. The room's bathroom also nice! The minimal decoration help us in relaxing, while we never felt anything missing. Bonus the little kittens that were the Hotel's attraction for sure! I suggest it to anyone!

Nothing major to fault really, the only thing was that there were no wine glasses, so I had to buy my own which I left behind when I left. Also worth noting is that the property has resident cats who will appear the moment you open the fridge (if you leave the room's door open) or sit outside to eat, so if you are not a cat person, then don't book one of the ground floor rooms because you'll be on constant surveillance :D

Amazing little boutique hotel slightly outside of Chania. I had one of the ground floor, pool-facing rooms, it was very spacious, comfortable and clean, and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was very well equipped to be able to cook your own meals, although the kitchenette is tiny, all the equipment you need is available. I loved the pool area in particular, with sun beds and even a hammock, it was so quiet and peaceful when I visited as it was early in the season. The hosts were super lovely and helpful, and the cleaning ladies did a thorough job every day, even doing the dishes which was such a luxury! The supermarket is ca 10 mins walk (note - up the hill on the way back so can be though in the heat), and you can catch a bus once an hour to and from Chania just outside of the hotel which takes between 17-35 mins (shorter into town, longer on the way back). I had an amazing week's stay and can highly recommend Kanso!

It was a perfect accomodation for all of our needs. The view, the location, easy access to the nearby beach on foot, the cleanness, especially the friendliness of the owner Vassilis! For the price you pay, the return is beyond your expectations!!! The room is well cleaned everyday and there were no plastics waste. The swimming pool is also cleaned everyday no matter which weather conditions. The kitchen has everything for your easy food prep! The room is well decorated with natural taste which calms you down and we felt like at home. Cats and dogs are also very friendly. If we come back to Crete in the future, we will surely stay at this accomodation again! Highly recommend! :)

Perfect, quiet location close to Chania and stunning Agii Apostoli Beach. Tastefully decorated room with very comfortable, large bed. Spotlessly clean. Lovely and friendly owner. Beautiful pool area and bunch of friendly cats and dogs. The place is a real gem and we would definitely stay again.

Really amazing location very close to some beautiful beaches, meantime in the peace of a green village.The place is like a little paradise.A bit rustic style ,with amazing view from the balcony and with everything one needs for a relaxing stay.And the extra point for the ppl at Kanso : always ready to help with everything u need, from renting a car till recomandations of places to visit,to eat ,ordeeing taxi etc .Extremlly clean and pleasant . Totally recomended❤️

From the very beginning the owner welcomed us with such care. The place itself it’s located perfectly outside the rush of people but yet still so close to the city of Chania (8/10mins by car). The establishment is super nice and well kept surrounded by bamboo and olive trees. The rooms are near each other and most of them are overlooking the pool. Room itself was very very clean and towels,bedsheets,products were smelling really nice. You can see that the place is well maintained and taken very good care of! It’s also PET FRIENDLY with stray cats(which you’ll see either in the morning or at night without even bothering you) another reason why we booked this establishment as we brought our own dog which was well accepted without any additional costs or useless comments. Our holiday is still ongoing as we booked for 5 days but it’s a must to leave a positive comment to such a beautiful place and people. To who ever sees this post don’t think twice and just book it!
