Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

The neighbourhood seems a little out of the way but actually it is a short walk into the actual centre of the town.

Fantastic place for relaxing. We will be back for sure. The appt is so new and clean. And the kitchen is very useful. We cooked breakfasts and sometimes bought fresh fish and cooked lunch. The bedrooms are amazing we slept so good! It’s clean and comfortable. The pool is so quiet and relaxing and felt like heaven. The host and stuff was absolutely incredibly helpful and kind and so generous to any request we had. Thank you!

Small details not even worth mentioning
The property is super nice , nice garden and pool area and overall a nice oasis . The host Kostantina was present everyday making sure all her guest were doing ok or if they needed anything, she is a hardworking women which will do the best to make your Crete experience smooth and easy .

It’s just PERFECT. Konstantina gave us the warmest welcome and the best recommendations to enjoy our week in Kriti. Popular and secret beaches and restaurants that we visit all and were amazing. Kallimento is so comfortable and relaxing. The apartment was clean and fully equipped, perfect size for a long stay. The pool: a piece of paradise.

A minor shortcoming, I would only mention the microwave and the iron, which might come in handy sometimes.
Konstantina is a delightful lady. Very kind, direct, extremely hospitable. The apartment also reflects him, the furnishings are extremely charming, the atmosphere is impressive. We loved the terrace, the garden with the pool, the silence, the tranquility. The place filled us. There was even a traditional coffee maker, which we could not find in any of our accommodation. We spent 10 days in Crete, this was our last accommodation out of 4. Unfortunately we only had 2 days left in this place. We were in the largest apartment from September 15-17. would have stayed longer! Thank you Konstantina, I hope to see you again!

The studio was bright, clean, spacious and had everything you could need. Konstantina was amazing, helping me with taxis, bus timetables and recommendations, she even gave me a lift to the bus station when I left because my suitcase was heavy. The grounds were well maintained With fruit trees all around and the room impeccably clean

The room is large, very beautiful and comfortable. The pool is big and clean. The parking is private, large and near the room. Konstantina, the host, is super!!! She helps us for every need and is really fast to respond.

Nothing to improve on. Keep up the superb maintenance and you will always stay full.
Brilliant new boutique hotel with everything you could wish for to stay most comfortably for a few nights. The entire place is a credit to Konstantina. The pool was sparkling clean. the gardens were lovely. On-site parking. Konstantina gave us excellent recommendations for places to visit and to dine. It was quiet and even though there were families there with small children the layout of the units meant there was no noise disturbance.

Could not fault this place.
Fantastic host, very friendly, daily cleaning, great information on where to go, brilliant pool and facilities. They even took our clothes to wash them for us. Pool was perfect temperature with great loungers and umbrellas. It even have a bar.

loved that there was a pool to swim and cool off right when we arrived! the decor and setup of the apartments was idea, very calming especially with the windows open and the breeze flowing through. Great host and wonderful family run business! highly recommended, plus there are little treats throughout your stay!

There was limited space in the bedroom for more than one suitcase, which can be inconvenient. Small suggestion to remove the dressing table.
Location is perfect for visiting the western part of Chania. Good facilities, and the studio apartment was very functional.

Everything. The aesthetic and design is modern 21st century, with whimsical and original touches (painted donkeys, Greek soldiers, primary colors) made even lovelier by old school Greek hospitality. The rooms are CHARMING, the hostess Konstandina is a consummate professional, and the location to three of Cretes MOST spectacular beaches Balos, Falasaarna, and Elafonisi, cannot be beat. This is my second stay and I will be back!

Konstantina is a great host! Always has a smile on her face and really cares about her guests having a great time in Kissamos. The apartment is close to everything in Kissamos (Restaurants, supermarkets, Beach). And we enjoyed the pool very much.
