A lot of mosquitoes, it was not possible to open the balcony in the evening :D But it was not the host's fault

Our host Elen was excellent! She made us everything we wanted for breakfast. Same for dinner. She made lasagna bolognese for the first time in her life - just for me! What a wonderful gesture! And lasagna were excellent. We liked the food. As for the room, everything was sufficient for our stay, there was air conditioning, a nice balcony, everything was clean, really clean! Elen took excellent care of us and helped us plan our trip to Balos beach. It was obvious that she loved her job and loved taking care of his customers.

We just wished we could have stayed longer!

Golden Rose Suites really exceeded our expectations. We picked it mainly because it was a good base to visit the western part of Crete, but it turned out to be a lovely little spot in itself. Its location is indeed great, as it is less than 2 hours away from the best beaches in the area (Balos, Elafonissi, Falassarna) and a mere 30 minutes from Chania Old Town. We had dinner nearly every night in Kolymbari, where the hotel is located, and the choice of great restaurants was incredible. The hotel is extremely clean, quiet and the rooms are very spacious and bright. Eleni is a perfect host, and the breakfast is very good! Particularly appreciated was also the playlist that kept playing in the mornings, we definitely missed it after we left :) We had a great stay at this hotel and we cannot recommend it enough! We will definitely be back.

Location was quiet. Pavements and kerbs were not 'wheelchair friendly'

Breakfast was good, pool was good, room was good, garden was good. Eleni was excellent - seemed to work 24/7.

Shower quite small, impossible to shower without having the bathroom full of water (It dries very fast anyway in Greece so no big deal)

Everything was great!

The owners are extremely warm people and very professional! We felt good from the first moment we stepped in. The place is impeccably clean and the hotel offers a great breakfast too. What else could you ask for? ;) Highly recommended!!

It’s been a wonderful 6 days in Golden Rose Suites. Beautiful place, great owners, very helpful(Eleni arranged for us the car, even though everything was already taken),our apartment was clean and very large, nice pool (cleaned daily), breakfasts very good (especially omelettes), good connection to other towns, close to the bus, taverns with delicious food, we will definitely come back here, thank you Eleni,her husband and grandson Thomas for a really enjoyable stay you are a wonderful persons

We liked the location of the hotel which offers a great starting point for exploring the western part of the island. Rooms are extremely large, clean and equipped with air conditioning and refrigerator. Each room has also a large balcony. The hotel staff (Eleni and her family) is extremely friendly and helpful! ❤️ Every morning we were served with very tasty breakfast and we liked the possibility of swimming in the pool. In Golden Rose Suites me and my family had the best time in Crete. Totally recommand!

the internet was either dead or not reachable to our apartment at second floor and despite asking them many times and complaining they couldnt help it. we spent the whole day without tv and internet. shower is small and it get wets in the whole bathroom after a shower. communication problem as they have very little knowledge of internet and also english.

the house is wonderfully beautiful and very clean and wide.
