Beds a little hard. Double beds small. Rooms quite small. Food menu limited . But it was low season. Plumbing poor. A trickle from a hand held shower.

Very warm welcome at this family guest house. Beautiful views from the property. Enjoyed an evening meal from a limited menu but still overall stay was good value for money.

The rooms were a little colder than expected but there were plenty of extra blankets ! and it is getting towards the end of the season .

Staff was lovely and welcoming. I had dinner here too, also great. Suggested for people walking the E4/Cretan Way as a stop and can reach the Zeus caves on foot (by doing a little stretch on the road, which is part of the E4 as well).

We didn't eat at the restaurant downstairs but we ordered a raki and it was hugely overpriced compared to prices in Iraklio.

we liked this place a lot. it is simple but very cosy. The restaurant downstairs is great and the hostess is a wonderful person. we would recommend this to anyone going to the Lasithi Plateau and do not have demands for luxury but instead a genuine atmosphere.

the hot water in the shower wasn’t available at the arrival - probably because other guests used too much just before us. But it was available later.

Tipota!

The host of Dionysos is the most friendly you can imagine. And her cooking is excellent! I have had a lot of moussaka's in my life, but the one she makes, beats them all. The home made xygalo cheese, as a starter at lunch or dinner, together with small dark olives, is delicious, like everything that is served. The room we had is simple, but okay. Clean and with the necessary things. Wifi works well. The view from the small balcony is magnificent. We were there in the beginning of september and on the Lasithi plateau it is much colder (about 10 degrees) compared to the rest of Crete, especially during the evening. So take your sweater.

Beds somewhat hard (typical for Crete, it’s common) - never noticed that when 30 but now at double that, I do notice :)The shower is not the biggest but would improve a lot with a hook to attach the shower head above the head, and a shower screen instead of curtain - good investment for a fine hotel. The shower was nice and warm though - the most important!

Although not necessary most of the time, there’s no ac in the room, I was concerned about this but the cool breeze throughout the day was so nice and it was cold at night!

Wonderful experience staying here, delicious food and warm welcome. Great location for hiking, nice weather, lovely village scenery. My room had beautiful view of the entire valley. The family was kind and generous and the place while simple had everything I needed.

The location was fantastic. Very easy and convenient for the Diktaion Andron Cave. Also for sightseeing the Lasithi Plateau in general. Parking is easy at the accommodation and easy access to everything. The rooms had balconies with views of the Lasithi Plateau so very relaxing. Excellent food. Had a wonderful pastitsio. All in all fantastic.

Bathroom very small and only able to get water through the shower head which was awkward for brushing teeth, luckily we had two rooms so could go next door for this.

The location was convenient for what we wanted to do. Staff welcoming and helpful. The food was tasty although very limited choice.

It was the perfect place to spend the last two nights of our trip, after ten days of hot beaches we enjoyed the fresh air of Lassithi. The room had a really nice view and both the kindness of the people there and the distance from the chaos of the coasts made our experience in this small oasis of tranquility unforgettable.
