Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FinlandThe bathroom was small and showering thus a little difficult even for a smallish lady. In most Greek hotels it is often possible to hear neighbours next door and above-as I stayed at a quiet time, and there was hardly anyone there, this wasn't a problem, but could possibly be at busier times.
Very handy location for taking the coach next morning, as it is situated right behind the bus station. Even though it is located in a somewhat noisy part of town, the room was quiet as it didn't face the street but an inner courtyard; heard no noise in the night. Room was small but clean and tidy, had a fridge and a kettle and instant coffee provided, as well as basic cutlery and crockery equipment. Small balcony.

RussiaThe shower is right next to the toilet so the ubication is watered too and then the whole floor is sort of wet cause there is little barrier
The balcony is perfect for having a breakfast with a nice view on a green yard. I could not find real TV on TV, only radio stations which were good btw. The owner is very friendly and gave me a sunscreen and a little gift. It was very quiet, no neighbours bothered me. Half a minute from the bus station and 10 minutes from the main touristic attractions. There are some books to read in different languages.

SerbiaI knew that it was small but somehow it looked even smaller in person so if you're clumsy it might be difficult to handle. But for this price and location it's understandable.
The place was cleaned every second day which is unusual for budget stays like this, superb hygiene! Host will meet you even during the late hours around 23:00 and greet you. Location is perfect, very close to the city center, literally 5 minutes walk.

RomaniaThat I stayed on the first floor and had to carry my big luggage on a tight stair. It wasn't a tragedy but it was not easy also.
That the room was very clean and it had a big balcony. It was less than a minute walk from the central bus station (I choose it for this reason). I do not know much about the location because I stayed only 1 night arriving late in the evening and leaving early in the morning. I appreciated the coffee and cookie that I found it in my room. It was very nice to have this at hand in the morning.

United KingdomJust to note that there was no lift and no ground floor rooms, so not suitable for anyone challenged by stairs.
Great location close to the bus station and a 10 minute walk into the old quarter and harbour. Spotlessly clean with small balcony overlooking a quiet street. Good quality linen and comfortable beds.

United KingdomDisliked · i had cereal for breakfast and had to wash these out in the sink. Like one of my other hotels in Crete, that washed all my crockery for me every day i would have preferred this. i do like my bed made every day on holiday.
I was in chania for 3 days and this hotel came up near the bus station. I decided to stay here with the intention of doing a couple of day trip by bus after finding no hotels on the harbour front.I had a trip to marathi beach and also seitan limani The rooms were fine, quite big, air conditioning worked well, fridge, crockery to make cereal and a TV. I think my room was cleaned on the second day. the room looked out over a garden area which was nice to look out and also to sit in. it was probably 10 mins walk to the harbour. once i got my bearings i found this a good place to stay, with supermarkets 5 mins away. My phone wasn't working on arrival , but would advise using a phone to find this place. The owner was helpful and helped me in the garden by lighting something to keep mosquitos away. wifi was fine.

ItalyThe toilet is very small, but nevermind! You're supposed to pass your holiday outside, after all.

AustraliaNo dislikes we had a lovely time
We loved our stay at Diana’s room. The hosts were extremely sweet, accommodating and went out of there way to make sure we were comfortable. Rooms were clean, and have plenty of amenities. It is great value for money. Location was so convenient being right by the main bus station which takes you to plenty of beautiful beaches in around Chania. It also is located a 5 minuet walk away from the old town and a 15 minuet walk to the beach.

MaltaIt is small but comfortable for 2 people. The most important thing that it was clean and when we needed clean towels we just asked for them and the host gladly gave them to us. The host was a very kind and nice person who gave us a warm welcome. Also, it is very close to the centre and it was in a very good location. Close to all amenities. Recommend for a short stay.
