The location was everything, cools watch the hustle and bustle of the old harbour from our balcony. Perfect for late afternoon sunshine. The whole apartment was immaculate, the shower better than home, and lovely responsive owners.

I love it 🥰

I love everything about Casa Del Porto. The accommodation is in a prime location overlooking the harbour/marina with amazing sights of the boats coming and hustle and bustle of daily life. Literally just yards away is a selection of the finest local eateries with a fine selection of traditional Greek food. For me though, it starts with the apartment so much so, I kinda preferred to stay in than go out😅. Extremely clean, highly presentable, sleek design and decor, it is stocked with all one needs for an amazing stay. Take the bathroom for example, stocked with enough various toiletries there really is no need to bring much of your own. The amazing jet stream shower is a welcome addition to soothing oneself after a long day of adventures or just walking around Chania old town. The main bedroom area has a beautiful large crisp clean bed, complete with enough storage for two. Safe is included for items requiring safe storage. A large tv allows one to view Netflix, AmazonPrime and YouTube as well as traditional Greek tv channels. Offside to the bed is the dining and kitchen area which I love 🥰 WoW!! This allowed me to cook if I wanted or just to warm up food bought from a local cafe or restaurant. Coffee machine is included, kettle on request with enough dishes, cutlery, pot/pan etc to be self sufficient. Konstantina was so kind to even include a beautiful complimentary ice cold bottle of raki and water in the fridge🥰. I don’t expect it, but it was a beautiful welcome surprise and start to my stay🥰. Beyond the dining/kitchen area is a beautiful balcony with amazing views of the harbour/marina and I spent many an evening with a nice cold glass off wine just relaxing and watching the world go by🥰. As a solo traveller, I felt totally safe here having to go through a secure gate, up marvellous marble stairs and through another secure door before reaching the door to my apartment. This is important for me to feel comfortable and relaxed ☺️.

Only one thing is the host called quite a few times (to sort check in and transfers so legit reasons) but we were already on holiday so preferred to message. But still, super lovely host/staff and not a big issue.

We had the back bottom room and for us that was lovely. Not a balcony but nice and secluded/quiet, and the apartment is in the best location. Less than 1 min walk to the waterfront! The staff were lovely, apartment was super cute and clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

There was nothing not to like at all.

The apartment was in an amazing location overlooking the harbour. It was beautifully clean and exceeded our expectations in every way. The host was so helpful with restaurant recommendations and things to do. We loved our stay in Chania and would definitely return to Casa Del Porto Green Suite!

The location was perfect, overlooking the Old Town Harbour, and within easy walking distance of every wonderful thing the Old Town has to offer. We have never stayed in a cleaner facility. Well done to Konstantina and her team, and thank you for being so helpful and kind. We would highly recommend Casa del Porto for your stay in Chania.

Nothing…. It was better than we hoped for every way.

Everything about this property is wonderful. Katarina was very helpful and kind, the rooms were clean, well appointed, and very comfortable (We will be searching for a shower like those in our suite when we get home.) We were genuinely sad to check out and so far the other Greek places we’ve visited since aren’t nearly as friendly and relaxing as Chania.

The views are fantastic. The staff was especially wonderful -- friendly, funny and great in every way. She really made us feel welcome. Even though the location is in perhaps the noisiest part of Chania, the balcony doors were extremely well sound proofed and we slept very well.

Very steep steps for those who have difficulty with steps and noisey at times for light sleepers like myself but the sound proof shutters and window’s definitely help.

Great Central Location,numerous bars and restaurants nearby. The Pink room suited our needs,quiet inside,but still in the centre of China Old Town and the harbour.

The stairs are steep and narrow and could be a problem with heavy bags, but help was arranged with our bags at both arrival and departure. Being on the harbour front there is a lot of noise at night from loud music, but this is greatly reduced by the acoustically sealed doors and windows and was not a problem for us.

We stayed in the blue suite and it was wonderful. The location fronting onto the old harbour with a great view was ideal. The facilities, bed, kitchenette and cleanliness were all very good. Sitting out on the balcony having breakfast or a drink and watching the daily activity on the harbour front was a pleasure. Google maps shows Casa del Porto as 2 star hotel, but this is wrong, it is a beautifully renovated studio apartment and should be at least 4 star. The owner Konstantina and the receptionist Katarina were both very helpful and friendly.
