Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe water did not work and was cut off on the last day when I was checking out so I could not take a shower.
I loved the location and private balcony. I love that there were lots of shelving to place my things.

United States of AmericaThe room was a little humid.
There was a small courtyard with tables and chairs right outside our room. We had 4 in our group. The room had 2 single beds and a queen sized bed. There was a mini fridge.

FinlandVery clean and cute rooms. There was enough space in the room, and even with our lugagge open on the floor there was still place to move around nicely. The place was really nice and wonderfully hidden in the little streets, but still just a few minutes walk from the Venetian Port.

United States of AmericaThe location directions were terrible. The hotel is located down a pedestrian alley, not a street. The only sign on the street was hidden under vines on the front of one of the restaurants and was barely visible unless you were 2 meters away from it. We only found it by pure dumb luck after randomly walking in the area for around 30 minutes. They wouldn’t answer at the front desk, so we had no one to assist us, but there was someone there when we finally arrived. There is NOT parking. They said there is street parking, but there is street parking available in the sense that street parking exists on planet earth. This is in a very crowded area and you will not be able to find a spot. When we finally got talked to someone at their booking.com phone number they directed us to a municipal parking garage that was closed when we went to get our car. Fortunately a kind stranger let us out of the garage when they saw we were trapped. Again, it was pure dumb luck that they happened to be there, otherwise we would have been trapped for another day.
Great room in the heard of Chania. Lots of restaurants nearby and around 10-15 minute walk to the everything else.

ArgentinaThe shower in one of our rooms was not working properly.
The staff was extremely friendly, always willing to help and provide recommendations to enjoy our stay. The location is excellent -right next to all cool restaurants, a few blocks from the Venetian port, walking distance to commercial street. The property itself is nice and kept very clean.

SpainThe room was a bit small and had big furniture that made it seem a bit cramped. It was also a bit dark. We didn't see the nice patio from booking photos. Our room faced a small (and uglier) patio and the reception area was very dated. There is no one at the reception at night (or at certain times of the day).
The location is very good although the hotel is not in a very pretty street. There's paid parking nearby. The staff was nice and helpful.

United KingdomThe only thing I would say could be better was for there to be staff in the reception more regularly. They were contactable by phone but it would have been good to be able to pop in and ask queries from time to time.
We had a great stay at Bozzali! The location is incredible and the staff were super helpful and quick at sorting any issues or queries we had.

United KingdomFor 4 star hotel few things did not work which I would have expected to be perfect. 1. the shower head fixing was broken off the wall so you could only hold the shower with you hand . 2. the toilet seat was not fixed properly and sliding off to one site 3. The room had a safe, however that was not fixed to the wall at all and you could have the easily carried it with you. 4. There was a complementary small bottle of Raki in the room (as you get after each meal in Crete when asking for the bill.) Nice gesture but this one was half empty which made you feel some one else had drunk from it already (? the cleaner maybe) 5. There ist no luggage room in case you wanted to leave yor stuff for a few hours when you leave. You can leave it though any where in the lobby but this is not very secure as all guests pass the lobby when coming in and out. Guests get a key for the front door that opens to the lobby. You are supposed to close the door behind you but can you always rely on this? There is no staff in the lobby area only when you call them on you mobile phone... Anyway we left our luggage from 10.30am until 10pm and it was fine. But a lock up cupboard would have felt better. Despite all these small things I would like to recommend this hotel.
Location of this charming small hotel is excellent, right in the old town in quiet alleyway. To get there with a heavy suit case was bit awkward as you have to get up some stairs from the road but it was a typical very small Chanian passage so very beautiful. The room was very nice and comfortable. Air condition worked well. There was a hair dryer and and iron. Double glazed windows meant you did not hear the bar on the corner. Staff were friendly and helpful, but not really present. You had to phone them to check in or when you needed any thing..(the reception/lobby area was never manned as far as I know..) But you had to wait only a minute or so for them to turn up, I assume the have a room very close where they are based. We could leave our luggage there on our departure day until 10 pm on the day we left (our flight was after midnight) so this was good.

IsraelOur bathroom was very uncomfortable , especially the shower. The toilet sit broken . I’d remove the “deluxe” hotel title because of the shower and also because some of the reception staff . we were in 2 separate buildings, you had to pass the reception which was almost always closed to get to one room and also enter the second building with a key … was very annoying asking for the other room to open up the door each time (they could have gave us 2 keys for each room at least so you can freely enter your room and enter the building), (we didn’t realize from the beginning and should’ve asked for extra keys before …. ) Not so generous with extra towels and toilet paper .. .. But overall the rooms are very nice ! And they granted us a late check out for one of the rooms for another hour and a half since they didn’t have reservation that night so was nice !
Great location!! very nice house adapted to a nice hotel.

GreeceReception was open when we arrived but closed when we went out in the early evening nor open when we departed the following morning. Not a problem for us but it may have been useful to provide, or for guests to ask for, an out of hours reception telephone contact should it become necessary. In fairness, there was a "Thank you for staying" card in the room, which contained general contact information but it wasn't obvious that referred to out of hours issues.
Old buildings delightfully converted, in the old venetian narrow streets. Our room was spacious, quiet and light. Large, very comfortable bed, plus seating. Small balcony/terrace outside with table and chairs. Well situated with just a short walk to the old town and also, in the opposite direction, only a few minutes walk to the city centre. Loads of tavernas nearby.
