Everything was fine. Would have preferred some fruits, yoghurt and honey instead of white bread, white bread and white bread.

Spacious room and nicely located when heading to Balos. The host was very friendly and borrowed me the phone charger what I had left in the previous accommodation. Premises well equipped and the most awesome is the restaurant Gramvousa just 10 metres from the accommodation. Breakfast provided in another location not far away from this one.

There were roadworks so coudnt park close so it was bit inconvenient and host helped with luggages. Breakfast is extra and it’s beautifully served it’s just not what I like to eat. There should be at least choice of bread (fresh dark one instead of only white toast)

The maisonette is spacious and clean in the beautiful small city close to Balos beach. Very nice restaurant just next door. Pool area is very nice. Host is very friendly, accommodating and responsive.

Not a big deal, but depending on who you travel with and wake-up times, the bedroom upstairs communicates with the living room/kitchen area downstairs so you'll be disturbed by noise if they wake up earlier.

Such a lovely place to stay. The apartment was spotless and cleaned daily and had everything we needed to fix ourselves food at home. Our flight was delayed by 2 hours and Eleni was kind to wait for us us until almost 1am for our arrival. The location is excellent for visiting Balos either by foot or boat and across the street from an excellent restaurant. Plenty of parking spaces nearby, quiet at night, two separate bathrooms... loved it!

The cupboards had an old unpleasant smell which needs to be looked into and need slight updating on the pots and pans as they seemed older for cooking. The lady brought me a new pan which was super nice.

The managing lady was very kind, breakfast was wonderful, and really enjoyed the place surrounded by nice restaurants, too. My children loved the swimming pool that was at the nearby apartment managed by the same lady next to where we had breakfast. It was a wonderful stay overall.

We had a great stay from the beginning at this place in Kissamos. Mrs. Eleni went out of her way to make us feel at home and welcomed us even though our boat from Gythio arrived at 2am in the morning. The apartment is outstandingly furnished and fully equipped with top notch facilities and Mrs. Eleni makes excellent breakfasts. This place is also perfectly suited for your trips to the 5-star beaches

Very nice staff, flexible and friendly! We stayed in the house and it is very well furnished and decorated. The village of Kaliviani is a good place to stay to visit Balos or Phalasarma beaches and the apartment was just in front of a really really nice restaurant (Gramboussa). Finally, typical breakfast was served for 7euros every morning in the garden next to the pool and it was made of good products.

The apartment has good atmosphere and located in a quite authentic village. Good location for Balos and other good beaches. The pool that can be used is in short walking distance and is very nice.

The only suggestion would be having some hooks for clothes/towels in the bathroom. Everything else was perfect!

Everything was amazing! The apartment was exactly as the photos, in a beautiful traditional stone building but modern and functional in the inside. The bed was very comfortable and we could see the stars from our bedroom window and smell the jasmine flowers from the outside garden during the night which was so nice. Eleni was very friendly and gave us lots of tips about the area and was always available and happy to help. The breakfast is in the garden by the pool of her other property, which is 2 min walking from there, was delicious and the location so beautiful and calm. The apartment was cleaned regularly. It is in a little village that is very cute and there are 2 amazing restaurants literally 1 min from the property. It's also in a very strategic spot considering things to visit (e.g. famous beaches Balos, Elafonisi) and the local beach was also very nice. Everywhere you go you will pass by olive trees and goats, which makes the journey so special. We definitely would have never left that place if we could and will stay there again when visiting Crete! Efharisto Eleni!

Oh man. This was our best stay in Crete. We got here by total randomness and found out that this stay was next to the best restaurant of Crete. Gramvousa Restaurant. We are so sad that we only stayed here one night. We could have easily stayed here for a week.

This was the fifth and last destination on our journey through Crete. We used the good location to explore the widely advertised beaches from there. Our host was friendly and the accommodation - offered as a maisonette - was very large. There was a good restaurant right next to the accommodation - so we get everything necessary. .

The accommodation is immaculate in every respect. Beautifully restored building with amazing stonework. Everything that you could want for a lovely self catering holiday. Taverna's nearby if you prefer not to cook.
