“This is the most high tech, luxurious taverna accommodation ever! Everything is very comfortable and functional. Bathroom is really nice for Greece, and the bed is perfect, not hard. The hosts Kostas and Maria and their family are so warm and kind, very generous. They gave me little cakes every day and I got fresh broadbeans and raki, which is a nice Spring Cretan tradition. Oh and the first artichokes of the season, my favourite. I felt like part of the family. I’ll be going back and they are welcome to come to me in London any time!”
