Fantastic location right next to Dogo Onsen and you can borrow a soap & shampoo set for free to use in the bathhouses. The hostel itself was very clean and I liked the mini towels to dry your hands after using the bathroom! Free amenities (tea, cookies) were also really nice and I liked spending time in the common space. There were all kinds of guests - cyclists, bikers, henro pilgrims, etc., so it was an interesting atmosphere.

We loved everything about this little gem. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed every moment of our time on the beautiful Nakajima Island. The walks, the friendly hosts and island locals, the beautiful views, the delicious food at The Bonds. It was really something special.

Besides the awesome building, the amazing talks you can have with people and the very appreciated free bicycles and air conditoning. I especially recommend staying here because of the amazing staff. The owner does anything possible to make your stay here comfortable, and he brightens up any room he is in. You should also check out his café in the city center!

Den welcomed us and was extremely helpful to find a place to eat in the evening. We stayed for two days and spend some time with him and other locals enjoying great craft beer. The room was spacious and very authentic in this old house. This was the start of our stays and we got a lot of great recommendations for the rest of our trip. Definitely one of the many highlights of our trip!

Spacious interior with unexpected surprises (gallery room!). Right next to food and shopping, and if you're visiting for a show at WStudioRed, it's only a brief stumble away.

Very affordable, comfortable, and clean room! We had plenty of towels, a fridge, tv, boiler, and separate toilet and shower rooms. It was great for a group of friends, and there were blackout curtains in case we had different sleeping times. Perfect location right at the doorstep of dogo onsen tram station!
