This was honestly the best accommodation in our whole 5 week Vietnam itinerary. The wide gazebo common areas surrounded by a lush green garden and a river are just fantastic to escape stressful cities. There where hammocks everywhere to relax, free bananas and a great dinner for a really good price. The staff is amazing, they speak good English and help you with everything. It’s also a smaller homestay so that you can actually connect with other guests in the common areas. We stayed in a hut for two persons, which had everything we needed.

It is 4minutes walk from the bus station to HCMC. It looks green on the picture but it’s right next to a very busy road.
Nested in a lush tropical garden, Mango Home Riverside is an eco-friendly resort in Mekong Delta.

Staff were magnificent, especially binh. The electric cart was great. Pool was fantastic but too warm. Waited on so much at dinner and breakfast. Great selection to eat for breakfast. Staff organised the transport for our next leg of our journey. Great to watch life on the Mekong go past.

The family was super nice and it was a great time staying at the homestay. We could rent the bikes and a scooter, and breakfast was always made fresh for us. We could also help ourselves to free water, and we had dinner at the stay once. The food was good Vietnamese comfort food, big portions. The hosts were super friendly and always helpful. The dogs were also really cute! Totally recommend staying with them, it's a very great and chill place which gives you a little glimpse of the life in the Mekong delta.

This is a very beautiful part of the Delta with clean canals and neighborhoods and lots of opportunities to interact with locals. We took a bike ride one day and people would say hello to us as we passed. Another day we took a tour and got to get a bigger perspective on life here. One of the most enjoyable trips we've had and the best of this 2-week vacation!

If you want to be in the heart of the Mekong Delta - better go to Can Tho. Ben Tre just has not a lot to offer. The only thing you can visit is the night market, but it is not special. Only cheap tourist stuff that you will find on every other market in Vietnam

Ben Tre/My Tho are nice if you are interested in discovering the different islands around: they all have their own speciality: honey, coconut, etc. The boat tour is lovely especially if you decide to go for a private one. The city has a beautiful pagoda that is worth visiting.

We were only at the homestay and on a boattrip one afternoon. Did’nt go to the city of Ben Tre. A couple of hours on a bicykletrip would definetly have been interresting, but with three kids, we found it too difficult.

I had such a lovely time at Ben Tre Stay.
I had such a lovely time at Ben Tre Stay. The family let me borrow a bike, showed me where to cycle to in the area, arranged a boat trip on the river, arranged a bus ticket for my next destination. Everything was excellent and would highly recommend this homestay to anyone who wants to stay with an amazing family. Thank you for having me!

It is located about 3 km away from the Ben Tre center - a short bicycle ride to the center. Thus, you can experience both city and rural life styles easily. Access from Ho Chi Minh City is a piece of cake if you use FUTA bus. The company offers a free shuttle bus service to this property from the Ben Tre bus station. Area around this property was very good for a bicycle ride. Luckily, there were many bicycles available and they were free. During my stay, I went to so many places by bicycle and met many local people. It was every wonderful.
The owner was very nice and extremelly helpful. Delicius breakfast (pho bo, fruits, juice and vietnamese coffee - but european style for breakfast was also an option) and great cooking for dinner. Rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable. The pool was clean and very useful during hot weather. Big choice of drinks in the hotel´s fridge (water, coffee, local beers and coconut). The villa offers a great tour too. We enjoyed a calm and peaceful stay. It is a good location to get to know My Tho and Ben Tre. We will definitely come back again.
Best Homestay of my trip in Vietnam ! Amy's family is very welcoming, and it is very easy to talk about different topics like our different cultures. Amy wishes to share traditional skills, so it is possible to learn how to weave palm leaves, cut coconuts, fishing... I really enjoyed the boat trip and the coconut Handicraft. It's possible to have a bicycle here too.
The Homestay is really quiet and is situated in the countryside of Ben Tre, it's perfect to relax ! The Vietnamese food cooked here is excellent!
We loved everything! Mr Thai is a legend and we enjoyed every minute. The bungalows are cute, we had no mosquitoes in the room and we got a LOT of fruit and coconuts every day. He even gave us money back for the taxi to the bus station and 3 massive pomelos from his garden as well as water for our journey. Everything was so delicious!
The boat and motorbike tours were great as well and we felt that we really got to see a real authentic part of Vietnam.
Ben Tre Garden is a wonderful place with beautiful country all around. it has a simple and relaxed atmosphere, the place itself is great but what really makes it amazing is the host Lieu, she makes you feel at home since you arrive, she helps out with whatever you need and makes your time there unforgettable! she’s an amazing cook so you have to consider having dinner there. this place has definitely been our favorite of our trip in Vietnam
This was a lovely, peaceful place to get away from the hustle of Ho Chi Minh City. Khoa and his team we're welcoming and helpful. Khoa speaks passable English and fluent French, so we had no trouble with communication.
We enjoyed the river tour - it was a bit too wet for other activities but there is a lot to do. The meals were excellent - a great introduction to Vietnamese cuisine.
it was in an amazing location off the touristy areas, surrounded by authentic life and nature. The rooms were large and very comfortable.
But the best part? The hosts. from the amazing food they cooked to taking time to show us around their neighborhood, it was everything a homestay should be. if you are in Ben Tre, definitely book a stay here—you won’t regret it!
This place is GREAT! The rooms are super clean and nice (spend the extra money to get aircon). The property is right on the river so we spent a lot of time watching the boats go by. The hosts are all incredibly warm and kind! We got to listen and learn about Vietnamese culture. The food is INCREDIBLE! It was such a lovely time!
Amazing garden! Also great location: using the free offered bycicle you're in the Ben tre city center in about 30min. Furthermore, there are a few nice back country trips you can explore yourself on bike or alternatively book a boat tour. Last, super nice host family.
Welcoming, beautiful and peaceful. The most unique place I stayed in my trip through Vietnam. You will be welcomed as part of the family, have the space to share with the rest of the guests and enjoy the beautiful nature and amazing food. Don't miss the boat tour.
Ben and staff were more than helpful .Ben is a true diplomat and should be in either government or a position where he betters the tourism industry in Vietnam. He is so informed and worried about pollution plastics. His knowledge and language skills excel.
The owner was amazing! He made the experience very genuine. He even drove me into town to catch my bus! He knows a lot about Vietnam and wants to share it with his guests. He will even cook dinner for you if you don't want to go out.
Beautiful small hotel, in a handsome natural setting, staffed and run by the loveliest, kindest people you could imagine. We took breakfast and dinner every day, and the food was the best we experienced in Vietnam. Perfection!
The room was big, and super clean.
Staff was friendly and the food tasty.
The best thing was the boat tour. The guide explained many interesting things about the area and Vietnam.
Nice location, outstanding staff & good facilities
also breakfast is not bad. I had a dinner with their set menu, Vietnamese food so good for me and cheap!
