Homestay Xóm Dừa Nước, hotel in Ben Tre

Homestay Xóm Dừa Nước features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Ben Tre.

This was honestly the best accommodation in our whole 5 week Vietnam itinerary. The wide gazebo common areas surrounded by a lush green garden and a river are just fantastic to escape stressful cities. There where hammocks everywhere to relax, free bananas and a great dinner for a really good price. The staff is amazing, they speak good English and help you with everything. It’s also a smaller homestay so that you can actually connect with other guests in the common areas. We stayed in a hut for two persons, which had everything we needed.

Mango Home Riverside, hotel in Ben Tre

Nested in a lush tropical garden, Mango Home Riverside is an eco-friendly resort in Mekong Delta.

We loved everything about our three day stay at Mango home. It is a beautiful environment; very tranquil and pretty. The sunsets are fabulous. The pool is lovely and a great way to relax after exploring the area. It was such an oasis after spending time in the bigger cities of Vietnam. We enjoyed all the meals we ate there. The restaurant has a delightful view of the river. We borrowed the free bicycles and explored the local area for several hours. It was also very easy to get a taxi into Ben Tre city to explore it too. A special shout out to all the lovely staff and especially, Ben. Ben spoke excellent English and he was always so helpful. He organised our taxi to get to My Tho bus stop for our onward travel and also made excellent suggestions about activities each day. Ben Tre is not too far from Saigon and Mango Home provides some very easy instructions on how to get to the resort. A great spot to go if you want a little taste of the Mekong delta.

    Beautiful garden!

Beautiful garden! A small paradise in the Mekong delta.. very interesting 6 hour boat tour organised by the owner and his family to give a better understanding in the region. Free bicycles and map of the region to explore ben tre area on your own if you like or go to the ben tre market. Very welcoming atmosphere.

This is a very beautiful part of the Delta with clean canals and neighborhoods and lots of opportunities to interact with locals. We took a bike ride one day and people would say hello to us as we passed. Another day we took a tour and got to get a bigger perspective on life here. One of the most enjoyable trips we've had and the best of this 2-week vacation!

If you want to be in the heart of the Mekong Delta - better go to Can Tho. Ben Tre just has not a lot to offer. The only thing you can visit is the night market, but it is not special. Only cheap tourist stuff that you will find on every other market in Vietnam

Ben Tre/My Tho are nice if you are interested in discovering the different islands around: they all have their own speciality: honey, coconut, etc. The boat tour is lovely especially if you decide to go for a private one. The city has a beautiful pagoda that is worth visiting.

We were only at the homestay and on a boattrip one afternoon. Did’nt go to the city of Ben Tre. A couple of hours on a bicykletrip would definetly have been interresting, but with three kids, we found it too difficult.

I had such a lovely time at Ben Tre Stay.

I had such a lovely time at Ben Tre Stay. The family let me borrow a bike, showed me where to cycle to in the area, arranged a boat trip on the river, arranged a bus ticket for my next destination. Everything was excellent and would highly recommend this homestay to anyone who wants to stay with an amazing family. Thank you for having me!

It is located about 3 km away from the Ben Tre center - a short bicycle ride to the center. Thus, you can experience both city and rural life styles easily. Access from Ho Chi Minh City is a piece of cake if you use FUTA bus. The company offers a free shuttle bus service to this property from the Ben Tre bus station. Area around this property was very good for a bicycle ride. Luckily, there were many bicycles available and they were free. During my stay, I went to so many places by bicycle and met many local people. It was every wonderful.

We stayed for 3 nights and loved the Mekong slow lifestyle under the rain. The hotel facilities are very nice, hidden within the hidden and plants : it is a beautiful and relaxing environment in the Mekong Delta. The food is excellent (cooked fresh from the market everyday) and you wouldn’t need to leave the property except for the tours. the owner goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and propose activities for you, in a nice and respectful way. he is the best host you can dream of ! Way to go, Khoa!

The location itself is gorgeous, situated outside the actual city of Ben Tre City, its a semi-quiet place with unique thatch roofed huts with a lovely mini lake and hammocks to relax on. The staff and food are what makes it brillaint, such lovely staff who did everything they could to make our 2 night stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast is complimentary but dinner you have to pay 150,000 vietnamese dong for, relatively inexpensive but it was very good.

Thuan is very helpful and a great host! His past experience as a tour guide ensures that you have a great understanding of HCM and anything that you're curious about. His family is also very hospitable and welcoming. One of my best experiences traveling because not just the warm hospitality, but also I get to understand Vietnam a lot more from a local perspective which I find it hard learning about when I was traveling due to language barrier.

We came here last December with my family. We had a very nice stay in Thai's place. Our host were very friendly and generous, especially with my father who was returning to Vietnam for the first time in 50 years. We really appreciate this moment on the Mekong bank. The comfort was ok considering the fact that you sleep in a hut next to the river (beware of mosquitos). The food was very good.

This is a homestay, where you get to experience traditional food, lifestyle and culture and the great pass time of Karaoke and beer, It is a one stop shop for activities as well. we booked four days and enjoyed every moment of the experience. Don't be put off by the location as this only added to the charm of the place. Highlight of our trip to Vietnam and Ben Tre.

One of the nicest places we’ve stayed at In Vietnam. It is authentic, off the beaten track and so friendly. The owner put on a boat trip with just 6 people in the afternoon and we thought that was fantastic value and so local away from the tourist routes. Dinner in the Homestay was delicious and relaxed. I would definitely recommend.

Beautiful and lush garden garden area directly located at the river. Charming huts and very nice pool. The staff is extraordinarily friendly and helpful. Even more than the already good Vietnamese average. We had a very nice breakfast (included) and a tasty dinner in a lovely setting. Peaceful and family friendly! Very recommendable.

Idyllic countryside retreat. The family was so helpful, even arranging our bus back to HCMC and a fantastic private boat tour for a very reasonable price. Particularly appreciated the availability of tasty vegetarian options on the menu (difficult to find in Vietnam). Also very cute, sweet dogs.
