Set just 41 km from Cozia AquaPark, Baltina Parc Transfagarasan provides accommodation in Curtea de Argeş with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a 24-hour front desk. Everything was very clean. A lot of peace and quiet. The staff was amazingly kind. I accidentally made a mistake in my reservation and they helped fix it with no issue. Will definitely come again when in the area.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Old Court is a holiday home set in a historic building in Curtea de Argeş, 30 km from Vidraru Dam. The host is absolutely amazing. Besides that, the little houses have amazing history and they are very comfy and nice.

Located within 27 km of Vidraru Dam and 39 km of Cozia AquaPark, LA LIVADA provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Valea Danului. Amenities were exactly as presented. The cabin was fully equipped, clean, almost brand new. There is a little booklet on the TV furniture where the premises are presented and recommendations to visit places around can be found. Plus the garden has everything; you can taste the fruits - not called Orchard (La Livada) by mistake; some berries were ripe when we arrived in July. Very tasty. Looks like it is kid oriented refering to the playground, having little bikes, slides, climbing, and many other options to play, however as adults we had a little fun with the mini zip line. We would have played badminton, but it was a little too windy for that. We (3 adults) stayed in the smaller cabin. Had a double bed (mattress) in the small attic, and a stretchable sofa. The sofa was a little stiff to sleep on, but this is subjective. For example I like a stiff bed. The mattress in the attic was not too soft, not to stiff, so very much ok. The place is not too far from all the shops you need to buy food. Also, must visit Curtea de Argeș Monastery. Overall this was a very good stay for a night between Transfăgărășan and Transalpina "roller coaster" trip we made.

Featuring river views, Family Mountain Cottage offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 48 km from Union Square. We didn't have breakfast but it was not in the plan so no problem about that. The place was wonderful. Getting the keys was super easy, the landlord gave me clear instructions abut everything. The location is amazing, it is quiet and very close to fagaras.

WHITE HOUSE, Vidraru is a recently renovated villa in Căpăţîneni-Pămînteni, where guests can make the most of its free bikes and garden. The house is well equipped for families. Many toys, balls, darts, swings, and places to run. Beds were comfortable, including the sofa bed. Strong wifi signal (which is very important because cellular network reception in this area sucks). The host was super friendly!!! We arrived very late (after dark) and all the grocery stores were closed. The host brought us some groceries to cook dinner and brought us cake as well. We tried to pay but they refused to take the money.

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, Casa Iulia & Matei is situated in Cîrţişoara, 17 km from Balea Waterfall and 36 km from Dragus Adventure Park. Nice cosy apartment, clean. Good starting point for the transfagarasan trip

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming house. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful escape while still being close to all the attractions. The house itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking to explore this beautiful region of Romania.

Amazing location and view! Communication with the host is top and the house has all the amenities needed. View over the mountain and perfect place to have a glass of wine and grill with your friends or family. Will definitely come back!

Casuta De Sub Munte Cârțișoara is located in Cîrţişoara, 46 km from Union Square, 47 km from The Stairs Passage, and 47 km from Piata Mare Sibiu. If you plan to go to Fagaras Mountains it is a perfect location, very close to Transfagaras road. The home is spacious and clean and it has great hot tub to chill in after trek! Highlt recommended :)
