Exceptionally pleasant and relaxing atmosphere created by the owners of Quinta de Ribeira. They are genuinely kind and caring people. They have made us feel like at home throughout our staying with them. The location is very nice and quiet. We were lucky living in a very cosy atmospheric cottage, where we had have everything we needed. We enjoyed having our morning coffee and evening meal in the qunta's yard with the spectacular view on mountains. It is very secure and private place. The owners are always available and trying to do their best to make your stay very comfortable. We will definitely come back there and thoroughly recommend this place to everyone.

As well as being a wonderful place, the property is close to several beautiful spots and locations in the Serra da Estrela. A 7-minute drive away, you'll find the river beach on the River Mondego, a beautiful place to stay, camp or relax; a few minutes away, you can visit various villages and tourist towns such as Gouveia and Seia and live a unique and pleasant experience. We couldn't fail to thank Tim and Saarge, the owners of Quinta da Estrela. They were very friendly and welcoming, always ready to support us, including surprising us by decorating the house for our son, who was celebrating his birthday; we couldn't have been luckier to find such friendly people to make our stay memorable.
