Only a bit difficult to reach if you don't have a AWD/4x4 car. Super nice area to enjoy a barbecue/bonfire. Be aware there is no wifi and signal is limited (not a problem if you are aware of it).

Richland House feels like a hidden oasis located in the middle of Nizwa. When the gate opens, you will immediately feel at ease. Our host was very welcoming and made us feel at home! We stayed for two nights which was a welcoming rest during our roadtrip through Oman and enough time to explore all that Nizwa has to offer. Highly recommended!

Excellent location, right on the starting point of the Village Walk trek, with the best view of the valley with terraced gardens. A beautiful traditional home and decor with all modern amenities and a kitchen with gas stove, fridge and a microwave. All rooms with AC, heater and water heaters. And sqeaky clean with an area for barbecue also. Firewood and charcoal with matchbox placed strategically. Our group of 3 couples had the best of quality time as we were meeting after many years. Kudos to the owner!

We really enjoyed our stay: the traditional architecture of the house is stunning, and the rooms and facilities were extremely clean and comfortable. Lack of wifi was not perceived as a minus, but as a plus: it's a great choice to make visitors focus on the surrounding beauties and live a more authentic experience (eg by stargazing and gathering on the private fireplace). The staff has been very friendly and helpful. Finally, the location is very convenient as it's close to many of the most important trails and viewpoints of the area.

El espacio de cocina también es grande, aunque no dispone de demasiado menaje. Por último, y no menos importante, el anfitrión fue muy amable, adaptándose a nuestros horarios de entrada y salida.
