Very cozy, beautiful village house surrounded by nature. Comfortable, beautiful bed, all necessary accessories. Wonderful view of banana fields, various plants. Very nice, sincere, helpful hosts. The hosts grow a lot of different fruit near the house. Everywhere is amazingly clean. Very friendly manager Andrew. Delicious breakfast in the hotel, which is near Village Pinnawala. This village house is a refreshment for the soul!! We recommend 100 percent!! We will come back soon.

This was the most amazing hotel I have stayed in , beautiful setting and very calming , we swam in the river , the piling pool at our room was amazing as was the steam room. The food was great and the staff couldn’t do enough for you . I highly recommend this hotel if you fancy a bit of luxury.

My girlfriend and I had an incredible stay at Peacock village. The room was very clean and well equipped. The couple who look after the property were very kind and made a delicious dinner. Getting access to the nearby Elephant Park Hotel for breakfast and use of the swimming pool was amazing. Andrew from the hotel was incredible and helped arrange our trips to and from the hotel (free of charge) and our onward journey to Sigiriya after our stay. Would highly recommend staying here!

The location is PERFECT! You can see the elephants while eating breakfast or chilling at the pool. Staff was super friendly and treated us like queens. Andrew showed us all the village and took us to many places! Kabbi was a super nice driver. Great experience!

Kavi and Nipuna Made our Stay one of the best ever althiugh everyone was amazing. Weiters were more than amazing in all possible aspects. The couple that took care of the peackock village was so hard to say Goodbye too and the lady cooks the best local Fresh Food for an affordable price. The breakfest and enjoying the pool at grand Royal were very Well organized sonce the hotel offered tuk tuk rides there and back at anytime 😊

Views were the best in the whole of Sri Lanka. We had our own private pool that had the sun rise directly in front and the sun set to the right of the pool. The room was massive and could have fit a few of us. It was so peaceful. Secure doors and windows, we had no bugs enter our room! Air con was a dream. The food here was absolutely outstanding as well. The staff can arrange for canyoning and water rafting from the hotel, do both!!!

The stay at Peacock Village was a wonderful experience. The caretakers and the manager Andrew were incredibly kind and welcoming. We stayed two nights and enjoyed the food and the hospitality very much. We would return anytime and highly recommend staying here!

Super friendly helpful people. Andrew the manager was amazing with his help and recommendations Really good food in the evening cooked by the caretakers wife who was lovely. Fresh fruit from the gardens. The villa is part of a hotel so breakfast is a short walk to the hotel overlooking the elephants bathing area of the river.

The pool is amazing, the villas are cozy and unique and the atmosphere in just wonderful! Too cheap for this world class quality! Will surely recommend it to everyone staying in Pinnawala!
