The cabin was beautiful and well located to explore the area. The lovely host greeted us on arrival and explained the property and the area. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed comfortable and the bathroom spotlessly clean. We are so glad we booked 2 nights here to enjoy the cabin and the area.

Mörk Superior Cottages is on Road 711 by the Midfjördur Fjord, 1 km from Hvammstangi village and the Icelandic Seal Center. It offers cottages with a private terrace, sea views and free WiFi. A nice room right on the water that's a perfect base for exploring Hvammstangi and the surrounding area.

Overlooking the mountains of Tröllaskagi Peninsula, these cottages include a kitchenette, private terrace and free WiFi access. Dalvik Public Swimming Pool is 200 metres away. One of our favorite stops! We stayed in the old farmhouse, which has heated floors making it extremely comfy in winter. The hot tub and sauna were wonderful in the cold as well. Bjarni was incredibly nice and very friendly, he made our stay very pleasant and even helped make sure we were informed that our whale watching tour had changed to a different departure location. He showed us around the old movie theater when we went by his cafe. We felt super welcome and had a really enjoyable stay in a very nicely appointed cottage!
