The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen very well-equipped. The great view is a big bonus. Also the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Definitely the best place we stayed at during our two and a half week trip through Ireland.

Offering a garden and garden view, Maggie's Cottage is located in Thurles, 42 km from University of Limerick and 42 km from Castletroy Golf Club. The nice host who prepared extra food for us in addition to the breakfast basket as she knew that we had a terribly late arrival. The food is such a warm welcome when I woke up after a tiring night the day before. The cottage itself is historic but well kept. I didn’t need to worry about the hot water supply for the five adults to have bath in sequence. The kitchen is well equipped with all the cooking stuff we need. Our family has an amazing breakfast time at the cozy kitchen. As a first day visit to Ireland, this is truly a wonderful experience for us. I was waken up by the fresh air and humming of the birds outside my window

Set in Roscrea and only 46 km from Tullamore Dew Heritage Centre, Hopesgate Cottage - Roscrea offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Absolutely beautiful cottage, it was a lovely place to relax and a wonderful space to enjoy. It had everything you needed, it was like home for home. The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding areas, Leap Castle and Birr Castle and Gardens were just two places we visited. Beds were really comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped for all your needs and the bathrooms had a shower in one and a stand alone bath in the other.

Lackaroe Cottage is set in Garrykennedy, 36 km from The Hunt Museum, 36 km from King John's Castle, as well as 36 km from Thomond Park. The hosts were incredibly friendly and very accessible.

DEVIL'S BIT accommodation is situated in Killea, 19 km from Thurles Racecourse, 19 km from The Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles, as well as 20 km from Semple Stadium. This camper was delightful. There was plenty of room for the two of us. There's a small town, Templemore, nearby for groceries, pub, and eating out. Our hostess was very accommodating and included little things like cereal, milk, and juice just in case we didn't get groceries the day of our arrival. The view is spectacular in the front and back. We were also 2-3 hours from south (Cork) and west (Galway). We're photographers, so wrong turns became happy surprises. There's also plenty to do just in County Tipperary. Great location for exploring the island!
