Quirky house that was clearly loved. Very clean. Mary the host was lovely and so helpful. Very generously left us chocolates, wine and a lovely cake. There were tea bags and a bag of coffee beans! Mary clearly tries to make people’s stays very comfortable. There’s a great big garden and gazebo area, just made for parties. There are 3 properties beside each other. The folly, another large house suitable for a large party and the host’s own house. Mary was really lovely and we didn’t feel that it mattered that she lived so close by. It’s a bit out of town on a small country road. We walked to the Hoban hotel, about 10 minutes. Would be very happy to return there again.

El Knockreagh Farm 3 Bedroom Cottages, inaugurado en julio de 2023, está situado en Kilkenny. El alojamiento ofrece wifi gratis, jardín, terraza y bar. It was the perfect holiday for us, we stayed 5 days, with older children 10 and 16. They appreciated the pool table and air hockey which meant we had an actual break! It was lovely and peaceful, there was Netflix so we relaxed as a family in the night, it was great we couldn’t ask for more.

The location was wonderful. The host was so good! She had left us sandwich fixings which came in very handy after traveling all night with 2 small children from the States. Our stay was very pleasant!

The location is very peaceful, about 10 minutes from Kilkenny, which made it easy to drive in when needed. The river walk was a great chance to get into nature. Fergus was a great host!
