Set in Kettering, in a historic building, 24 km from Kelmarsh Hall, Blackbird Cottage is a holiday home with a garden and barbecue facilities. A really sweet little cottage in a beautiful village. It has been obviously been newly renovated and the best use made of the space available. Great size bathroom with walk in shower. Good size galley kitchen and a cosy living area. A double and single bedroom upstairs (be aware that in keeping with the vintage of the property the stairs are not for the faint hearted but there is a good sturdy handrail). Clean throughout and with all the usual amenities. Parking to the rear of the property. The highlight has to be the gorgeous cottage garden which is enclosed and was absolute heaven for my two dogs. The host Lee is super friendly and helpful without being intrusive. I would definitely recommend and hope to return for more that two nights next time.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay ,clean comfy and plenty facilities, beautiful tasty home made scones with jam and cream waiting for us , milk,tea,coffee all there, and towels , wonderful as I forgot mine , I would stay there again as soon as I get the chance 😋
