Very comfortable accommodation - highly recommended. Also appreciated the washer/dryer.

These two guest houses are nestled in a magnificent jungle landscape on the grounds of a small farm. There are horses, chickens, a cat and two dogs. We particularly liked the paradisiacal jungle river, where you can also swim. The hosts are incredibly helpful and nice and make a great breakfast and dinner for their guests in the open-air kitchen. We felt very comfortable there.

It’s such a beautiful property, the views are amazing, waking up with nature everywhere. Spotlessly clean and such lovely decor. Sereen went above and beyond to help me organise this for my boyfriends birthday, thank you!!!

YerbaBuena Modern Stay in the Cloud Forest offers accommodation for small and large families and groups. Boasting a lounge and shared kitchen, WiFi and private parking are available at the villa free of charge. Great place - multiple buildings, some with hotel-like rooms (but very spacious) and some that were for a family. Shared building in middle of compound with kitchen and living area (and where the wifi worked best!). Lovely grounds with lots of places to sit and bird/animal watch. Easy walk to multiple restaurants and a small market - location was great. 10-15 minute walk to Monteverde centro, 30-40 minute walk to St Elena centro. The "compound" would be amazing for a family trip where people want to have both shared and private space.

Boasting pool with a view and views of sea, Villas en el Bosque is a recently renovated villa situated in Ojochal, 1.2 km from Tortuga. This property offers access to a balcony, darts, free private parking and free WiFi. The villa has family rooms and facilities for disabled guests. Hostess Vanessa is so caring, relaxed and cool, we immediately felt at home. The walk to the beach is a great adventure (15 minutes through the jungle), we were able to observe great animals almost continuously (monkeys without end!). Great breakfast, great view from the balcony, overall a very good vibe there. Supermarket and fine restaurants are right next door, we definitely recommend staying here for a few nights.

The nearest airport is Tambor Airport, 68 km from Green Forest Rustic Houses. beautiful well maintained. Easy to find. Grounds are well groomed and very clean, it shows they take pride in the work to keep property. The house we stayed in was so beautiful and clean, kitchen well stocked with essential supplies.

The property is gated with a caretaker for security and convenience. Perfect Location, to enter premises with a code is a very good system. Internet was exceptionally fast.
