Located in Castelo de Paiva, 37 km from Santa Maria da Feira Castle and 38 km from Europarque, Casa da Clarinha provides air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi.

We were here in early June 2023, newly converted and we were their 2nd guests. Very good, no its excellent, accommodation. Coming here is getting away from the tourist scene of beaches and crowds. The kitchen dining living room was easy to work in, the bedroom very comfortable. WiFi, power points, table very workable. Could easily be accommodation could spend a week in. The owner is next door and very helpful. Could easily be used as a base to explore areas within a 20 or 30km or more range. Went to a local restaurant ( cafe Flor do Paraiso) just down the road for probably our best home cooked Portuguese meal of the trip. The cafe is local enough that its not even on Google.

Offering pool views, Quinta de Varzielas - Agroturismo in Castelo de Paiva features accommodation, a private beach area, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and barbecue facilities.

It is the perfect place for a family stay. The house had everything we needed to cook the food, both inside and outside. It is a quite place with a fantastic view over the vineyards and the river. Our kid enjoyed the pool area, especially when the lovely donkey Nikita came by :) The territory is well kept and the staff is polite (and even easy and interesting to speak with even if you don't speak Portuguese). Till the next time!

Situated in Castelo de Paiva, 32 km from Santa Maria da Feira Castle and 33 km from Europarque, Casa do Vale de Gondra offers barbecue facilities and air conditioning.

The chalet and gardens were all on one level with no stairs, which suited us perfectly. There was the option of air conditioning when it got uncomfortably hot for us on a couple of days. It is in a very private, quiet location, so perfect for getting away from it all. The chalet is very well equipped and we were able to cook our own meals if we did not want to go to a restaurant.It is very clean and homely.
