Very clean, new, fantastic little swimming pool for sunsets! Little private deck for outdoor meals! Good location for wonderful nature trekking in aldeias de Xisto trails. Wonderful staff. Electric charge nearby and supermarket walking distance 5 min.

Modern with good decoration throughout, exceptionally well equipped and comfortable. Owners always available should you need them and half way through the holiday they sent us a small snack(see picture. would definitely recommend to others.

We loved our stay here, tucked away in the quiet hills in an extremely comfortable home with everything we could need. The pool was wonderful and the views fantastic from the deck. We cooked delicious fresh fish on the charcoal BBQ, our daughter helped Fiona feed the cats and I even spotted an owl from the bedroom window at night! Richard and Fiona are the most amazing hosts, always seeking to make our stay that much more special. Thank you!

The location was about a 10 minute drive from Castanheira de Pera. The home was located in a neighborhood in a quiet & rural area. The place was very clean and spacious, and the bedroom was large and with a very large and very comfortable bed. The hosts were very attentive and hospitable and made me feel welcome and had great suggestions for things to do in the area.

Loved the view of the pool lake , palms lining the path , yachts , hillside surround , the quietness and the quaint location. next to the center of the village where everything is at hand ATM public open air gym, library , cultural park and center , cafes, supermarkets, restaurants, everything. You d find in a mini town The village at night and in weekend , in winter is very nice, friendly , safe and quiet.

The location was excellent and just what we needed. If driving in the area for the first time, not recommended to do very late at night as the roads are winding and steep and phone sat nav likes to send you up the tracks rather than the road. The views are amazing and the local wildlife diverse. It was stag rutting time, and we could hear them around the valley, The boars were out with their piglets and we even saw an otter on a local river.
