The view from the front patio is very nice. We enjoyed the patio along with a glass of wine every evening of our stay. We bought a weekly buss pass which worked out amazing. The bus stop is close to the property and we were even able to take it to the train station when we left for Rome.

The villa is on a hill overlooking the train station and town of Santa Margherita Ligure; we had no issues with noise, but the staff provide earplugs if help is needed. We had a very relaxing 3-night stay.

There is a lovely living space with comfy sofa which converts into an extra double bed if needed. The (much needed -in Summer) Air conditioning was fantastic! Lots of complimentary stuff expected from a 4* hotel that delivers. The location was excellent, close to absolutely everything to know in the area and for transport to portofino (couple of blocks to the bus station of ferry).

Extensive and tasty selection for breakfast, nice to get a pot of coffee (rather than from machine). Comfortable bed, helpful and welcoming staff. Outside private pool would be fabulous in the summer. The location close to the railway station allows for short day trips to the Cinque-Terre which we would recommend over staying in these villages. also there is a good walking route to Portofino (and you can take the bus back) from Santa Margherita.MarkYoung couple
