Everything about our stay was a 10 out of 10. We booked the villa for a family reunion (total of 12 people) and we all fit comfortably. The villa is very traditional Tuscan style and great for a large group. The grounds are lovely, and even though the villa is directly off the main road, it's well gated and closed-off that you don't even feel or hear anything else around you. It's very peaceful with all the amenities. Highly suggest getting the added breakfast option and even a few of the additions (we added a pizza dinner one night and a chef dinner one night, all facilitated through the owner and the quality of the food and service was top notch). The property keepers Raffaele and Angela were absolutely marvelous, patient with our group, and really helped elevate the experience with any last-minute requests, making our stay an unforgettable one! All communication beforehand with the owners was also seamless and extremely helpful. Would stay here again and would highly recommend!

From the moment we arrived until our departure, the exceptional location, coupled with the warm hospitality of the hosts, made this stay an absolute dream come true. Let's start with the location – it was simply perfect. Nestled in the enchanting town of Cortona. The proximity to the town center allowed us to explore Cortona's picturesque streets, vibrant markets, and authentic trattorias with ease. Whether we were wandering through the Piazza della Repubblica or immersing ourselves in the rich history of the Etruscan Museum, everything was just a short walk away. The apartment itself was nothing short of marvelous. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by an immaculately clean and beautifully furnished space. The interior design was tastefully done, combining a contemporary feel with rustic elements that paid homage to the charm of the region. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and filled with natural light. Every amenity we could have wished for was provided, ensuring our stay was nothing short of luxurious. However, what truly set this apartment apart was the exceptional hospitality of our hosts. From the moment we arrived at the train station, they were there to greet us with warm smiles and open arms. Their attention to detail and genuine care for our comfort and enjoyment made us feel like treasured guests. They provided us with a wealth of local knowledge, recommending the best restaurants, hidden gems, and must-visit attractions. Their personal touch and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect were truly remarkable. The hosts' generosity didn't stop there. They thoughtfully stocked the apartment with a selection of delicious local treats, such as baked pastries, pastas, and a bottle of exquisite Tuscan wine.

We stayed for 9 nights in Sept 2022. It was the perfect place to stay as our home base, for our tour of Tuscany. Sonia's lovely house is in the town of Camucia ,on a pretty hillside in a residential area. The train station is 1 km away so it was an easy trip to Florence by train and there is a mini bus up the hill to Cortona every hour. In Camucia, Il fico di Cortona, is a short walk to a lovely restaurant and a grocery store is within 1 km . It is a quick drive to Camucia's town center with other restaurants and shops and easy access to highways. The house is very clean and well supplied with everything . The air conditioning, WiFi and TV were great and there is a dishwasher, washer, iron and hair dryer too. This lovely 2 bedroom house has a wonderful little kitchen and a big bathroom with a big shower and separate bathtub. There is a patio to sit outside and a BBQ. We had easy parking for our car next to the house on a quiet street. Sonia is a wonderful host and was always available if we needed anything. Sonia speaks very good English too . We loved our stay and would highly recommend Il Fico di Cortona to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Tuscany .
