We picked the keys up slightly before the check in time …we got there early from the airport and got lucky that the host was nice and the place was ready. The silence, the horses, the dogs, the cats, the parrots and of course the hosts made the stay quite amazing. We will return and recommend.

A beautiful little chalet with a front porch, which would have been wonderful had it not rained the entire time we were there. Quiet location, very close to the cycling path around lake Trasimeno. The town was easily reachable by car, offering spectacular views all around. The attention to detail has been exquisite, there was nothing we could have possibly missed. We found delicious sweets and an excellent red wine as welcome gifts, which was so touching! Great for longer stays as well. We even got a chance to feed a friendly local cat (with cat food also provided by the host!).

The room was beautifully stylish, the photos do it no justice, and facilities were first rate. The staff could not be faulted, they were engaging, helpful and could not have done more for us. The shower cubicle needs repair, another door out of place. The location is ok, a few kilometers to Castiglione del Lago. There was a pizzeria in Villastrada, but you don't get pizza every day. You should also make a reservation there. The accommodation has a grill, but you have to cook it yourself. Breakfast just ok, friendly and helpful service.
