Beautiful house, lovely furniture, very clean... I would highly recommend it. Even left a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge for us ! We felt at home...we would definitely stay there again....better than a hotel....thank you to the owner

The Gardener's Cottage sits on a gorgeous 1000-acre estate. It seems that the owners may still be in the renovation stage. The kitchen, bedrooms, and one large bathroom looked brand new. The small upstairs bathroom needs an upgrade. That being said, it was spacious and comfortable for our family group of 5 adults and two grandsons (10 and 12). The setting was more isolated than we had imagined. You had to drive to go to town. But the grounds were conducive to long walks, beautiful scenery, vast open spaces for the grandsons to play soccer when we needed them to expend some of their energy. We would absolutely stay there again. Roderick, the owner of the property, was welcoming and gracious, even when our grandson locked himself in the bathroom and we had to call Roderick for help one evening.

Super place, excellent location for Yeats country and Sligo in general. Probably best self- catering we have stayed in in Ireland. Easy access to a main road but quiet.

Really enjoyed our stay with our 2 young boys, loved the peace and quiet but also a great place to base yourself if visiting Strandhill, Lough key, Sligo, carrick on Shannon, the property is kept immaculately, and Miranda is a fabulous host. Our boys loved the horses outside the back wall! 10 out of 10
