Wow, where do I start? I loved the comfort, cleanliness and the decorations. What really swept me off my feet was the fact that the hosts offered Netflix at the apartment, so when it was too cold for us to go out, we could just snuggle up on the couch and watch anything in HD. The internet service was exceptional and the property is about 10 minutes away on foot from Rastoke waterfalls, which is really cool, since if you go by car, you have to pay for parking. The hosts were available on Whatsapp and Viber all the time and they were happy to help us in any way. It was a really short stay, just a little romantic getaway, but we really had a good time due to the awesome accommodation. I would definitely recommend! :)

This cute little house is set in lovely gardens with plenty of outside seating areas and play areas for children. It was very quiet at night, spotlessly clean and the owner had left us lots of treats, apples, sweets and some homemade grappa. The two bedrooms were both spacious and comfortable. One thing to note, the upstairs bedroom (en suite) had no door so lacked a little privacy (only for sound, not for looking into) but this was solved by shutting the door to the living room at night which made the downstairs bedroom effectively an en suite with private access to the house bathroom and gave total privacy to both couples. Plitvice is about 35 minutes drive so really convenient. The restaurant down the road, two minutes drive, Feniks, has mixed reviews, some terrible, but we risked it and had a very nice meal there and the staff were lovely. And it’s one of the few that stayed open until 10pm, most in Slunj closed their kitchen at 8pm which was a little early for us. The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are open tread polished wood and felt slightly hazardous to us oldies but we managed with care. Just something to be aware of it you are an older traveller. All in all, highly recommend, especially if you like to be away from town, the feeling of being in the countryside with greenery and scenery around you.

Very nice and cozy holiday home, you can feel the heart and effort the owners gave to the reconstruction of an old cottage. Everything was perfect, super clean and fully equipped, even some cold beers and juice for the kids were waiting for us when we arrived. Location is very calm, little bit far to walk to Slunj Rastoke, but Helena was very helpful with information about free parking in the town.

The house itself was nice and clean, had everything we needed, everything working fine. The backyard in the woods was so nice for hanging out. It's in a quiet place, we weren't disturbed, the nature was beautiful. Our host was helpful, friendly and kind. Loved it!

Very beautiful, peaceful and comfortable accommodation. Excellent care and cleanliness, genuine friendliness and limitless hospitality of the hosts. The descriptions are correct, one should only book this house if one is aware that it is a remote location and that the nearest town for shopping etc is a 20 minutes car drive. We have been 100% happy and felt privileged to have stayed here. We will certainly cone back.

House Kod Ajke is a beautiful house, much more beautiful than picture. It is classic decorated with 2 lovely bedroom, cosy living room, inner courtyard, a kitchen exceptionally equipped with everything you need. The host welcome us with some local products ( wine and sweets). The place absolutely worth the price and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a nice and cozy stay in Rastoke.

Evan the host was very generous and kind to us, on arrival we raised a toast of home made liquor and had a beer or two, on departure day Evan offered us to stay at his river side resort as much as we wanted which was an excellent experience for family with children.
