Die Insel Lopud ist traumhaft schön und die Unterkunft toll gelegen, am Berg (nicht geeignet bei körperlichen Einschränkungen) mit tollem Blick. Der Garten ist sehr schön, wir haben es genossen abends (mit Mückenschutz) draußen zu sitzen. Das Haus ist geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Man muss sich aber im Klaren sein, dass es sich nicht um ein klassisches Ferienhaus handelt sondern man im Haus von jemandem wohnt der dieses in der Saison als Ferienhaus vermietet. Zum Strand Sunj auf der anderen Inselseite kommt man entweder zu Fuß (25 Minuten) oder mit einem Golfkart (3 Euro pro Weg pro Person, Abfahrtsstelle ca. 10min zu Fuß von der Unterkunft).

I absolutely loved my stay at AMF holiday house. I was welcomed by Robi who waited for me at the ferry station and helped me with luggage which was a very nice touch. House is perfectly located at the beach so there was no need for me to go anywhere else to take a swim. Bakery is literally 30m from our house and a supermarket around 3min walk. I was also surprised to see that house has a private terrace on the other side, completely hidden from the street, so there we would spend the afternoon and quiet evening. We really enjoyed peacefulness of this house. I highly recommend and would come again.

It was huge family trip so we used the whole building. Excellent distribution of the rooms and bath rooms in each floor. Awesome views from each room’s window. Clean and very cozy place. Garden and house are decorated very authentic Mediterranean style. I would love to mention about owner couple, very very nice people. we really enjoyed staying there and Marija and Daniel is one of the reason we would like to visit to Lopud island again. thanks! we will def. visit again!!

The villa is in a stunning location with decent sea views. The grounds of the villa are impeccably maintained, and this contributes significantly to one's ability to relax and enjoy the property. The pool is lovely, warm, clean and a decent length. I did 100 lengths almost every day! The terrace area is pleasant and we had lunch or dinner outside nearly every day. Inside, the villa is of course charmingly ancient, but not in any way where things felt 'old'. All the bathrooms and toilets were very clean indeed and everything worked. There were loads of towels. The utility room upstairs was a real help and we did plenty of washing, There were lots of rooms and I think the villa could comfortably accommodate 9. The kitchen had implements galore and whenever we looked for a specific implement we found it, no matter how obscure. Loads of cutlery, crockery and pots and pans. The cooker, microwave, toaster and kettle and dishwasher all worked well. There is even a little office where I did far too much work. We took up the offer to buy eggs, cheese, olive oil, tomatoes, peppers and olives from neighbours and that was great. You can walk to the Arboretum which you can comfortably see in an hour, and might not be that great value for money, but it was still lovely to see and we didn't mind paying to preserve such a nice concept. A real shame that the olive oil museum was closed, as we were really looking forward to it. The beach is sort of doable, but it is only for the sturdy if you plan to go by foot - a heck of a hike back up. We went by car, but go early (like 8 or 9 am at the latest if you want to park by the harbour). The harbour is a charming little place, and the 'beach' is the extremely common concept in Croatia of a concrete platform overlooking the sea. After one try we preferred to go to the excellent nearby beach called Veliki Zal, or to take a boat (an expensive option, but well worth it) to Lopud and visit Sunj beach.
