Great, peaceful location without mass tourism; Sofia is an excellent host. She was always ready to help, answering almost immediately; the house is huge and fully equipped, with perfect views onto the mountains and the village; the road from Chania is perfect, we used to drive it every night without any problems. You can easily park next to the door.

Idyllic quiet location beside one of the mountain springs in Meskla, with old plane trees and as much spring water as you can use. Lots of room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms both with showers, dining room, very well equipped kitchen with proper oven and induction hob, fridge and freezer, fireplace in the living room, which was very cosy on the one rainy day we had. Large outside terrace on 1st floor. Hot water whenever you need it from immersion heater. Everything new and clean. Very friendly host who welcomed us to the property. The best accommodation we have ever rented in Crete.

The location and view of the White Mountains is stunning. I spent hours on the terrace painting. An easy walk to 3 excellent tavernas. A good amount of outdoor space for lounging with a great big Oak providing dappled shade in August heat. The jacuzzi was a bonus too.

The house actually exceeded our expectations. It was clean, comfortable, very spacious and had many amenities. The host was very kind, helpful and friendly. The fireplace made a great atmosphere and in general had many traditional things inside. The beds were comfortable and the place was hot and had hot water too. You can also take a walk at the village and see the perfect view from the balcony. We think it was value for money so it's highly recommended.

Everything! The property was superb. Every little touch catered for - from charcoal to bbq, honey for breakfast, pastries delivered mid-week to the level of cleanliness and quality one could only hope for! Honestly, you couldn't criticise.
