The location was in a hillside village, away from the typical tourist locations. Our host family felt like friends. The homecooked fresh food exceptional. We had a clothes washer and line for drying. The swimming pool was clean, full sized and a perfect temperature. The views of the villages below and the ocean were exceptional. We enjoyed walking through the small traditional village where coffee, food and drink are also offered. We definitely recommend eating nightly at the hotel restaurant though.

The location is fantastic and we had a super welcome kit from the host. Much appreciated. All were clean. The swimming pool, the view, the rooms, we really loved all. Unfortunatly it was a 1 night stay only, because we were doing the Corfù trail. We hope to come back in Sokraki soon.

The house is very nice, recently equipped and decorated with materials in high quality and good taste. All windows have mosquito nets. The host Lina is very caring: the kitchen was filled with everything needed for the start - drinking water, bread, coffee, tea, oil, spices, fruits and etc. Air conditioners in every room. The inner yard is very nice and private, perfect barbecue area. Villa is in the village which is on top of the mountain and the road is winding and sometimes steep. It was not a problem for us, because we had good drivers in our company. Car is a necessity living in this Villa.

We loved everything. It was a beautiful, modern home inside wrapped in stone with a huge patio with edible grapes hanging from the arbor. An abundance of garden herbs for cooking in a fully equipped kitchen. We parked the car at the edge of the town and walked through the stone streets with wonderful locals dining and drinking outside. There were always hellos and wonderful food. Even a place to purchase staples, also fish, vegetable, and bread deliveries on different days. An old oil processing shop turned into a little museum and hand crafted wood items by a local. We could easily travel to beaches or Corfu town for a days excursion. The owners are absolutely wonderful and helpful. A week wasn’t long enough.

Our stay at Koukoutsa House was magical. Being "on top of" Sokraki it offers unbeatable tranquility. Each morning greeted us with a panoramic view, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee on the veranda. The pool is clean and well maintained. The house is charming, renovated and cozy, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The owners have thoughtfully provided everything needed, especiall for the first 2 days, making us feel right at home. Maria and Spiros make sure that they meet your needs even during your stay (thank you for the extra blanket!).

We loved place. It is clean and comfortable, has an amazing balcony with beautiful view where it is so nice to relax and enjoy, another one where all family can enjoy meals. It is located in charming quite village, we could reach to most of the places whiting 1/2hour wich gave us chance to see most of the island. Locals are very friendly, and there are a couple of cute places to grab bite or nice dessert and coffee just a few steps from the house. Host treat us with wine, snacks, and breakfast. It was a positive surprise. We definitely would love to come back.

Such a beautiful and relaxing place.The house is beautifully decorated and comfortable. It has a large terrace with awesome view over an olive tree valley and it that provides a good balance of sun and shade for the different times of the day. The hosts are so welcoming and helpful, and really went the extra mile to provide us with the information we needed.
