From the tastefully Greek furnished, clean rooms, the infinity pool with breathtaking views to the mountains, sea and Corfu Old Town, to the taverna below where delicious Greek Cuisine is served. It’s one of those places where the family goes above and beyond to make your stay a memorable one and it’s no surprise that many of their guests return! It’s central location in the middle of the island is a perfect starting point to drive and explore the island. However, the daily highlight was to return late afternoon for a dip in the pool and enjoy the amazing views and the delicious food. Mama’s moussaka was the best we’ve tasted in a long time. Do walk up to the village to have a coffee or cold drink amongst the locals at Cafe Cherry. It’s the perfect spot to see the village prepare for the day ahead or come together at the end of a hot day when the temperatures cool down.

Peace, privacy, authentic landscape, lovely pool, attention of the owner, cosy interior design. The children especially appreciated the pool, as one end is shallow and safe for small children. The host Nicos is very kind and caring.

We consciously chose to stay in a typical Corfu village in order to feel the pre-Easter mood. The house where we stayed was once an olive press mill, which was subsequently reconstructed with a lot of love and care. Lina was a wonderful host, which was felt even in the correspondence before arriving in the village. She kindly welcomed us and provided us with all the necessary information. She provided us with fruit and water and gave us a traditional Easter breaking jar. The villa is arranged with taste, has a beautiful yard and can provide comfort for a large number of people (there were three of us). From the top floor there is a view of the sea. The village is peaceful, quiet, charming, nice for a morning walk or a walk before going to bed (you can go around it in half an hour at most). Roosters will wake you up :-)

We loved everything. It was a beautiful, modern home inside wrapped in stone with a huge patio with edible grapes hanging from the arbor. An abundance of garden herbs for cooking in a fully equipped kitchen. We parked the car at the edge of the town and walked through the stone streets with wonderful locals dining and drinking outside. There were always hellos and wonderful food. Even a place to purchase staples, also fish, vegetable, and bread deliveries on different days. An old oil processing shop turned into a little museum and hand crafted wood items by a local. We could easily travel to beaches or Corfu town for a days excursion. The owners are absolutely wonderful and helpful. A week wasn’t long enough.

Everything was great at this house: location, amenities, the hosts. One of our most relaxing holidays. The house is at the edge of the village, therefore is very quiet. You cannot go up to the house by car unless you have a really small car, but the hosts helped us with our luggages when we arrived and when we left. Other than these times, the walk up to the house is really nice. Sokraki is a beautiful old village. And it is situated quite in the middle of the northern part of Corfu. It is the ideal location to stay if you want to visit all the beaches. Agios Stefanos is 35 mins away. Same for Canal D'amour. Or Paleokastritsa. Or Ipsos beach. Or the Aqualand. The addition of the swimming pool was a really good idea. Our kids loved it and used it every day. All the other amenities were there and were functional. We loved that we had a nespresso machine. And it was the first time a BBQ was on the amenities list and we were also able to use it. And to finish a thank you to our wonderful hosts. They were very helpful for the whole duration of our stay. And they made every effort not to disturb us. Sometime they would come very early in the morning to clean the pool or the yard. I think one time even a bag of trash disappeared miraculously. They seemed like ninja hosts but also present when you need something. Really great people.

We loved place. It is clean and comfortable, has an amazing balcony with beautiful view where it is so nice to relax and enjoy, another one where all family can enjoy meals. It is located in charming quite village, we could reach to most of the places whiting 1/2hour wich gave us chance to see most of the island. Locals are very friendly, and there are a couple of cute places to grab bite or nice dessert and coffee just a few steps from the house. Host treat us with wine, snacks, and breakfast. It was a positive surprise. We definitely would love to come back.

Lily’s house is located away from the busier parts of the island and is perfect for those wanting to enjoy a peaceful holiday. However, it’s only a 20 minute drive from the east coast and only 35 minutes from the west coast. This means that you can easily get to beaches, restaurants, supermarkets etc., whilst staying in a rural environment. The house itself is beautiful inside and out and is well appointed with everything you could need, including a dishwasher and a washing machine! It also has an air conditioning system in the main living space, which was a bonus. It’s possible to walk from the house and get quickly into some quite wild environments. Head north along the hills behind the house for forested paths and great views south towards Corfu Town. Head south from the house for walks through olive groves. Just to the west of the house lies the incredibly interesting village of Ano Korakiana. The village has a bakery and a small shop and is a pleasure to explore. No two buildings are the same! The house is managed by Corfu Cottages whose office is almost next door to the house. The welcome afforded to us was better than at any hotel and their staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and the whole island.

The place is super cute Located in a tiny village in nature, with beautiful tiny houses. The home is really nice and the balcony was amazing! We liked the silence.
