The villa has all you would want from a holiday home and more. The rooms are airy and spacious with en suite bathrooms. There is a great open plan kitchen which is well equipped and a living room area, situated on the upper floor, perfect for sundowners with a breathtaking view! It’s close enough to walk into town but also far enough removed that you can enjoy the peacefulness and serenity of being surrounded by olive trees in what we were told is a small working olive grove. In our opinion, the pool sets this property apart from others we have stayed in on the island, and is especially great for days when you don’t feel like leaving home! Overall, it’s a luxurious property. We had a lovely stay and would not hesitate to recommend this villa to anyone planning on visiting Skopelos!

Villa Koukounaria was perfect in every regard! I think we were the first guests since the villa was refurbished. The décor is neutral and stylish, and the villa was immaculately clean. The pool is magical and the views from all levels of the villa are stunning (being able to view the port from inside the pool was lovely). The gentle ringing of the bells on the neck of the local goats up down the hillside brings an even more magical charm to the place. The hosts could not have been more charming and helpful. We had an unfortunate situation with another villa on the island and needed to check in earlier at Villa Koukounaria than advertised and they accommodated our needs. We were in regular contact with the hosts during our stay, with them kindly regularly checking to make sure we were happy and that we had everything we need (purely attentive, not overbearing). On an additional note, if you’re staying at the villa, you would really need to hire a car to make the most of your stay. All in all, we could not recommend the villa highly enough and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who wants a special place to stay whilst on Skopelos.

We stayed at House Vasaki for 5 days and it made our vacation very pleasant. We got picked up at the harbour and we walked to the house. It is situated in a perfect location, everything is close to walk, you just need to prepare to walk uphill a lot but the view from the bedroom is totally worth it. This house made us feel like locals. There is air conditioning inside and fridge with freezer which is a huge help. We definitely recommend this place and we would stay there again if possible.

This is a very special place. We had an exceptional experience staying here! Mia was a wonderful host. She even left us wonderful treats from her garden and special little gifts. Manolis was a very good host and attended to our every need. The pool was nice and outside space for relaxing, drinking and eating was extremely good. one of our best villas in Greece.

They met us at the car rental and brought us to the villas. And they met us upon departure to make sure everything was good and collect the keys. We rented out all 3 villas and each family had their own kitchenette and pool. The top villa has the washing machine in it. We also were able to find a path to the town a short distance from our villa, so we did not have to use our car. But, a car was handy to explore the island and get groceries.
